  • In this Short, we talk about one new iPhone feature I want on Android.
iPhones have gotten a new feature with the iOS 17 beta 2 called NameDrop that lets you share your contact poster, photos and files via AirDrop by just tapping your iPhone with another iPhone.

People need to understand it's not just about the functionality or the technical aspect of it. Apple as a brand doesn't implement a lot of new things themselves but take already implemented stuff and make it look better and feel better.
That's why whenever Apple comes up with a new feature it doesn't have a lot of bugs since it has already been tested on the android masses years ago and they've taken all that feedback and incorporated it with their Apple UX

@@Codyslx they dominate the market in the US and either way… Apple is the richest company in the world. So there’s not much you can say to that. People must like their products and services more if they make more money off them. Do you know for example how much money apple makes off airpods alone? it’s so much money it could be it’s own individual brand and be richer than some very big companies

Android used to have that feature, but it doesn’t share the file via direct wifi. But rather using bluetooth. Also now, the iOS implementation lets you continue to share the file over cellular connection. I don’t know if it’s gonna be peer-to-peer or over apple server
