Honestly these little Jubilee conferences are the fakest, most performative thing ever. The point of these conversations should be to meet a middle ground between the two but the moderator never really does that. They just let both parties ping pong their beliefs back at each other and go home. They left the debate feeling the exact same way they did when they came into it, so what was the point ?

As someone who was born female at birth I was always considered "manly" because of my shoulders, hands, feet and voice especially since I'm shorter then the average female, people really need to understand that woman are not all petite and fragile or things like that. It was seen to be a woman if you had more body weight and bigger b00bs to feed kids (seen as a good potential mother) back in the day and petite women were looked down upon back then... So these images you created in your head is irrelevant because if someone identities as a woman, then they are. So now cis tom boyish women aren't women now?

It works the same way in reverse - Freedom of religion and speech = Homo-theology.
Jesus was the scapegoat that died for humanities sins, like the LGBTI+ minority is the scapegoat in heteronormative culture, and the black sheep in plenty of patriarchal heteronormative families living in heteronormative and patriarchy cultures.
Like Satan is the black sheep of the divine family mythology.
The binary of monotheism needs the antagonist/nemesis as the black sheep, and scapegoat of the mistakes of the supreme sky daddy.
Monotheism rose from henotheism which came from polytheism. And the Abrahamic faiths are not the first nor the oldest monotheistic religions / cultures. But then you need to know and understand what you are talking about.
I studied theologies. You need to understand what you are up against.
Jesus was not straight, he got killed for going against those with power (High priest, temple cleansing) and being not straight, Judas kiss, in a garden outside the city walls with naked men running around. Cruising didn't change in our sub-culture. Pasha custom/traditions and prisoners, why he got "betrayed" at that time - so the custom was a way out for the hailed messiah of the people. But they failed him, Jesus Barabbas a killer got that - in Jewish traditions homosexuality was a greater sin than killing. Allies that leave you hanging dry.
Philia vs Phobia - still the struggle we have today.
Like language evolution there is religious evolution - they are not hiding behind religion but ignorance and a history of power (abuse).
Also there are the mythology aspects, more than historic aspects - there are so many readings of what it means.
Esoteric, occults, sub/secret societies. Just pain history - humanity and the struggle for autonomy / human rights.
Call them out for what they are - false prophets and the goats, not the sheeple of Jesus. Freedom of speech, freedom of religion.

@@dinosaysrawr I agree, however not fully. Most Jesus people do pretend to also give two figs about science, nature and logic. Agree there is more evidence for gender identities than the support of an all mighty invisible sky daddy, duh! But if the theology points out this sky daddy is a concept, I have not problem using logical and scientific supported interpretations.
I understand how it came to be, what is can entail. Like how the bible came to be, not a god writing it but people, etc. It being written and translated, and re-translated, and updated, and the linguistics updated over times etc.
Elohim is plural thus gods, The bible states the gods created adm, man is ish in Hebrew. We know early Judaism wasn't monotheistic, but henotheistic.
We know Emperor Constantine created the Roman Catholic Christian religion, by merging other popular religions into a new one. Sol invictus and others. A scientific approach on religion. Like we do with evolution of language and linguistics, Indo-European roots, same goes for the evolution of religion/cultures.
It is clear you also have your biases on what religion is or isn't and a monolithic view on all its diversities.

I also agree, a lot of Trans and Cis women face the same issues, and it makes no sense why they can't support one another. I'm not trans, and TBH I can't say I fully can even understand the concept properly (though between you and Sam Collins I have a better understanding) because I'm cisgendered and I know I can never fully put myself in that mindset, but as a gay guy I know how it feels to get hatred for something you can't change. I know how shitty it feels when all you want to do is live your best life and others put you down for it. I'll always support trans, LGBT+, and anyone else's rights because in the end of the day, why not? If a person wants to transition it doesn't affect my life in any way. It doesn't change anything about me or my personality. And if it's what makes someone happier, if that how they feel their life is the best, then I see no reason to have a problem with that. I just don't know why people can't just grow up and realize that everyone deserves the right to be happy and live their life in the way that makes them have the best quality of life

It doesn't matter what you try or how much you try to be Cis, it doesn't change who you are, and we have tried everything over the course of over a century exploring the issue. Gender affirming care is the most effective to help people who are transgender, as well as those who turn out not to be transgender find that out and deal with their issues as well.

It's ~interesting~ to me that people who complain about trans women in sports never mention sports where having more body mass, being taller is a disadvantage. Like in figure skating, where jumps are generally easier for shorter, more petite people. Even male skaters tend to be on the shorter side when compared to men in general. Still, assigned sex at birth alone doesn't determine how tall etc you are, people are different. And sports are already not fair because some people are just better at some sports due to their biology (like you need to be tall to professionally play basketball and so on). HOWEVER biology alone doesn't determine everything like nobody is a successful athlete because of their bone density.
Also anti trans stuff often targets recreational sports, sports for children where it's not about being an athlete, winning scholarships or anything it's just people having a hobby or being on a school team. It's really sad and no matter how much they talk about fairness, this ain't it.
I also think it should be up to the organizations and professionals of each sport to determine criteria about trans people competing. Which they already are, as trans people in sports aren't a new thing. And it's a small percentage of athletes so people who talk about trans women dominating sports are clearly lying or listen to people who are.

I love your comments on Trans Sports. They are spot on and in total alignment with my own. The only difference is that I am actually in the game - I am participating in them. (Cycling) It pisses me off that people express their opinions who don't have any skin in the game. They don't watch them or participate in them, or take the time to really educate themselves on the real science behind the issues (you have, obviously)...but still feel compelled to replicate misguided myths. Society has been whitewashed to believe that Women's sports are like watching second string male athletes - which is complete bullshit. Anyone who participates in them see's this first hand. We are treated like an obligation at some events, with almost no advertisement at all. This is where the real struggle of women sports is; equality and challenging those long embedded myths. The transgender participation issues are a smoke screen to distract away from the real issues - look at Megan Rapinoe's cause for equal pay, or the issue with equipment at the women's NCAA final a couple years ago. Those are the real problems - not trans participation. There's simply not enough of us (trans) participating to make any significant difference. Oh, and don't get me started on shit like bone density. That makes your bones heavier, but HRT gives you less muscle to move them around - so in reality, this is a disadvantage is just about every sport. And where it may help, (Like weight lifting), it doesn't seem to be holding back any cis-women - so I call bullshit on that one...and people are not thinking it through to its conclusion. Most trans people are a mix of physical attributes. We are not breaking any female size standards anywhere. (I'm tall, but my hands and feet are small - a direct disadvantage for basketball - which is why I sucked at that sport even though people try to force me into it due to my size.) We are all on a spectrum. (BTW - Brittany Griner (cis-woman) is taller than me, but has the hands and feet to match!)
Oh, I could go on and on with my opinions on all of it, but I think you do such a good job of it, I can't add anything more. Therefore, I will stop here and just say thank you for putting out these videos! Love you!

I am a cis woman and an athlete and pretty much everything the conservative women in this video said about sports is wrong.
My sport is triathlon. In this sport, it is generally recognized that people get slower as they get older and men are in general faster than women so in the non-professional categories we compete with people who are in our age group and gender. (i.e., my current age group is 65-69 women so those are the only ones I have to beat to get on the podium.) That doesn't mean I haven't beaten men or people younger than me. Of course, I have. Heck, one of the best women triathletes of all time finished in a time that have come in 8th in the men's event at her last World Championships so she beat about 42 other men professionals that day.
That's because athletic performance isn't about who has the strongest bones, biggest wingspan, or even the biggest muscles. All of these physical factors combine with mental factors in complex ways. People with bigger bones might have smaller lung capacity while someone with bigger muscles may find that they need to lose some of the muscle to get faster because being lighter can make you run faster. Also as I mentioned above, women have physical advantages when it comes to endurance sports so a trans woman might actually be at a disadvantage to a cis woman in a 100-mile running event.
Plus many people haven't got the mental strength to push through all the discomfort that comes with doing things like swimming 2.4 miles, biking 112 miles, and running a marathon all in under 17 hours. (That's the Ironman distance -- there are shorter distances too.) People in great shape have DNFed because they freaked out in the swim. Sometimes the fittest guy crashes on the bike or doesn't manage their nutrition properly so end up stuck in a porta-potty or hooked up to an IV instead of finishing.
That's how it works in triathlon but every sport has these sorts of complex interactions. Think of a football player who is strong and can tackle people but can't keep track of the plays so ends up in the wrong part of the field too often so his team loses. Or someone who can dribble a basketball like no one's business but is too short to be able to get past the guards.
Personally, I have no issues competing against a trans woman and, if one beat me, I would just think I need to work harder and get into better shape. These vocal cis female athletes who are whining about being beaten by trans women and suing people over it are poor sports IMO and need to grow up and stop being so entitled. They aren't entitled to win these events and aren't automatically more deserving of the win because they are cis.
Btw, USA Triathlon just added a non-binary category to every event including their National Championships and lets kids under 14 compete in the gender category they identify with--all they have to do is register ahead of time that this is their category. USAT has figured out that being inclusive brings more people into the sport which is the goal of all sporting organizations with any sense.

The only time I disagree with Samantha is on the point that transition should be a last resort only. This thinking inadvertently invalidates non dysphoric trans people who want to transition, and trans people like me who’s dysphoria isn’t debilitating. Someone should not have to be miserable all the time in order to be allowed to do what they want with their own body. To use my own experience, I would be denied top surgery because my dysphoria isn’t “bad enough” to warrant it, despite the fact that I would be happier without breasts. To me that is unfair. Trans people’s right to bodily autonomy should not be conditional on our suffering meeting a certain legitimacy quota. We shouldn’t have to prove that we need medical intervention, which defines transness by suffering, we should only have to want to transition sand believe it will make us happier. Our existence and right to our bodies should be defined by what affirms us and makes us happier, not by how terrible or lives are.

My thoughts on trans women in sports, even if it was unfair, so what? It's also unfair that trans women were denied puberty blockers. So just because a trans woman was denied early transition, this should dominate the rest of her life? Plus there are SO FEW trans women and even FEWER trans women who want to play sports, is it really gonna cause an imbalance even if trans women had an advantage?
Also what's next? If a trans woman who wasn't fortunate enough to have gotten puberty blockers was on a cruise and the boat started sinking, should she be allowed to evacuate onto the life boats with the other women and children? Or should she have to tough it out with the men since TECHNICALLY she went through the same puberty they did and she should be as tough as the men?
Just seems horrible that if you didn't get early transition you're just screwed, doesn't help a lot as far as gender dysphoria either constantly being reminded "You've been through male puberty, we can tell"

I am an afab nonbinary person, I present very femme and I am constantly seen as a woman. Every struggle a cis woman has, I have too. And also I have extra struggles for being nonbinary. I don't get why it isn't enough to simply state the facts. We KNOW trans people are valid. We KNOW gender is not binary. Why is that not enough? It is so frustrating how governments decide based on science except for when Christians/cishet/white people dislike the facts. It is so tiring to hear them say "facts don't care about your feelings" when they only care about facts when they match their opinion. I absolutely am an advocate for stopping the struggle to fit into the cishet norm, stopping to care about them accepting us. We should just be who we are and fight institutions rather than cishets online. They won't ever accept us truly. We have to fight to make new generations understand that diversity is great and wonderful. And we need to build structures to protect us on the way there.

There have been studies done on bio women's athletic ability in sports compared to bio mens that determined that when bio women are put on teams with bio men, they will begin to preform at the same level of the men. We don't know enough about the biological differences between males and females to say that male bodies are always more athletic or stronger. In fact, in some cases the evidence shows the opposite- that females outperform males. Like with distance sports or anything requiring stamina, females have been shown to consistently outperform males. Female bodies are built to survive. They are much more resistant to disease, MUCH more likely to survive any kind of injury, and much quicker to recover then male bodies. We still do not understand why any of this is though. We don't really understand hormones or brain chemistry at all. We have SO MUCH more to learn. So I just think it's incredibly absurd that we've just taken at face value that bio women are weaker and will always loose in a fight against bio men. ALSO- bone density and brain size and all of that stuff is more closely associated to height then bio sex so I guess tall women aren't women?

With the sports thing, only trans woman in sports seems to be the issue that people argue over. There hardly anything if not nothing at all about trans men in sports because, by their logic, trans men will always lose so it isn’t an issue, it’s not unfair because men are biologically stronger so to have someone who, by their logic again, is at a disadvantage, it’s not an issue because it’s the trans mans choice to compete in forever losing competition, but when that’s flipped there is an uproar because suddenly cis woman are at the disadvantage. It really shows that trans people are so looked down on in the sports industry.
Another thing. Is a cis woman wins against a trans woman it’s just a woman beat a woman in a woman’s sport congrats, but if a trans woman beats a cis woman it’s cheering because she was born a man and is therefore stronger and is infiltrating woman’s sport and but the cos woman at an unfair advantage. I'm was homeschooled all the way through and came from a very religious household. Didn't stop me from being gay and trans.

Oml I want to be in one of these videos bc I have a perfect argument for every one of these questions, especially being 5'1" and super skinny, I'm literally weaker than most people in general so it would throw miss conservative for a loop lol

When she talks about differences like bone density, wing span, and whatnot these are also differences we see in race. Black people have denser bones than Caucasians who have denser bones than Asians. Similar differences are seen in wing span. Really while 13% of the US is black over 70% of the NFL is black and over 80% of the NBA is black. Much more of a present "advantage" than is seen in the transgender community. This is still fair and unless you can unbiasedly apply this standard she is being hypocritical.

Exactly! If we follow this kind of logic to its natural conclusion, we'll be banning people of certain races and ethnicities from various events due to their "unfair" natural advantage. White supremacists would probably LOVE that.

I don’t know if it’s just me but the “no trans women in sports” arguments always seem to make cis women in sports out to be weak and demeaning. It reminds me of the idea that a large percentage (I think 60%?) of US men believed they could score a point against Serena Williams. These women in sports are not average women. They have their own advantages based on their biology (muscle composition, height, etc), and they’re usually specialized in their sport. To say that any trans woman is just automatically better than a cis woman at sports is kinda disrespectful to the cis women who have trained hard at their sport. It sees trans women as men and just assumed that cis women are going to lose no matter what

For some reason, I got a commercial for a concealable holster, where one of the lines was literally, "If you wanna wear a dress, if you're a female, it works for that too." BLEH. At first I thought it was for tools or something, like plumbing, but quickly found it was for a GUN. OMFG whyyyyyy.

Amala implies that Finland is supposed to be a good example of how to treat gender dysphoria all the while our current legislation requires trans people to literally show a certificate proving they're sterile before being able to legally change their gender but alright, sure, yea good example :)))))) I mean we are atm working to change that and it looks like that's gonna be changed but it wasn't a good system to begin with. And even then it feels like the government is doing the bare minimum because of "potential abuse factors" which are real but I don't think they're nearly as likely as our opposition parties feel. Finland is definitely a lot better than a lot of other countries about trans ppl but thank god we're finally trying to catch up to some level of legal acceptance :D

my wife was size 11.5 in mens shoes. She would walk right out of them now because her feet got so much smaller. Her hands are smaller. She is almost 3 inches shorter. I'm 5ft2 with arthritis and autoimmune issues, I could easily beat my 5ft9 wife in any strength activity now. I hate the "male body" bologna because my wife's body changed so much just with hormones.
