Starting rate for trainers is 140Php, you can receive 10Php/hr increase every after 500 lessons completed (you must pass their KPI)

Job Requirements:
Preferably with a Bachelor's/Associate's Degree from a reputable college or university
If undergraduate, must have at least 3 years of work experience in the relevant field
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Basic computer skills and above-average Skype skills
At least 3 years of working experience in any field.
Availability on weekends (4AM - 12MN) and weekday evenings (9PM - 12MN PHT) are a plus.
Between 23 - 75 years old.
Available to teach at least 10 hours per week
My sentiment:
Super bait ng interviewers, as in. I passed the demo but decided not to sign the contract because of the COR requirement.
The company is great, pati materials nila ang ganda, pati ikaw mismo matututo. Sa video training pa lang, madami na ako natutunan kaya worth it ang pag-apply ko kahit hindi ko itinuloy mag-work sa kanila.
Pero wag n'yo ako gayahin hehe
Before mag-apply, magdecide ka muna kung willing ka ba magprocess ng COR (prepare approx. 2-3k for the COR & OR).

I have 12 years of training experience, the demo went well, maganda rin yung feedback and then the hiring manager said "No" 😅. She said I look intimidating and hindi ako fit sa culture nila. So my tip for those with training experience na, treat it like an entry level part time job tsaka dapat sobrang jolly mo.

I applied in Bizmates and luckily I passed kahit first time ko mag-apply sa kahit anong ESL or platform na tulad nito.

Hello Ma'am, I'm trying to apply po in Bizmates, after taking English test I received an interview invitation email but my issue is about "submitting video recording". I don't have any idea on how to do it like what would be the introduction, what to talk about and things that I have to avoid to say, how long the video recording should be, what should I wear...where to send it? Yes, sis. Reapply pag pasok na OS mo. You can also try applying sa Engoo or Rarejob. :)

Hi teach jona, thenx for d vid. I'm applying din for bizmates and like u, i did my research s lahat ng pros n cons feedbak nla frm glassdoor, reddit etc. sayang u weren't given a chance to ask questions. Kc distinguishable ang cons nla s mga reviews about KPI or parang performance indicator ito by the students and the teachers daw are at the mercy of this KPI-thingy. Parang mapenalize something ang mga teachers if they're given a low KPI. Anywy, bka i ask q ito if ever i'll b given a chance to be interviewed. Thanx.

Hi. I’m currently with Engoo & Bizmates. Bizmates’ Kpi’s are really strict coz they want all their trainers to be at par with each other since most students at Bizmates are business professionals.

@@whisperofthewindpoemsaudio7170 in terms of salary, it’s Bizmates. But my comfort zone is Engoo since interface and platform is easier, it’s just Engoo has sooooo many tutors (Filipinos and Other nationalities)

Hi Mam Jona, I do not understand, why are they requiring a COR? Because I think as they pay a trainor, they will already deduct 15% as tax and remit that to BIR. In essence, the trainor has already done its obligation to the government. Why the need for COR and receipt?
Hello po! As per Bizmates website po "Our Trainers are independent contractors. This means that if you become one of our Trainers, Bizmates will be your client, not your employer." Requirement po ng Bizmates mismo na dapat ang trainers nla ay magparegister sa BIR as contractor. Sa ibang ESL po like Engoo at Rarejob, hindi required ang COR pero ideduct automatically ang withholding tax.

@@constanciabongon4953 Unfortunately, di ko po masasagot yan kasi hindi po ako tumuloy magsign ng contract sa Bizmates pero ang alam ko po depende po kung aabot ng 250k a year o hindi ang magiging income nyo. If below 250k po, pwd mag apply for 0% tax sa BIR

Latest FULL version of Skype for Windows or Mac
A working headset with microphone (with noise cancellation properties preferred)

A quiet, well-lit area at home to conduct classes (preferably with a white background)

For the COR requirements po, it is better to ask sa local BIR district office sa area nyo po kasi reqts may vary. Dito po sa amin, ganito ang requirements/documents:
*Photocopy of business permit or Occupational Tax Receipt, etc (Pinakamadali po kunin yung Occupational Tax Receipt, pwede po kayo kumuha sa munisipyo)
*Photocopy copy of brgy clearance
*Photocopy of government issued ID
*photocopy of marriage cert (if applicable)
*book of accounts, any journals & ledgers which you can buy in any bookstore and must be stamped in BIR (meron dn po ito sa mismong BIR peo mas mahal kaya mas ok na bili na kau sa bookstore)
*proof of payment of annual registration fee (ARF) (if with existing TIN)
