Thats a straight sackable offence, you can't treat someone who looks homeless indifferent. A client must always be treated with respect and dignity not being ridiculed or insulted.

Any violations or abusive behavior will result in getting fired. If she refuses the cleaning duties and is rude to other staff members , she will know what the result will be.

It's interesting to see where the world is going. The leader can be any idiot, but when the subordinate is the same, he must be fired. The airline president needs to upgrade their passenger identification system to identify who gets on and off their planes. Technology now exists to add a photograph of the customer to an airline bording pass and a baggage claim ticket. Policies need to be implimented and enforced to ensure that their employees can properly identify customers. Simply repremanding and/or firing an employee working under an antiquated system will not solve the problem.

Though I believe in giving 2nd chance, I don’t agree on this instance as Ruth was really really nasty holding onto her own believe that the passenger Maynard was a homeless guy out to steal others’ luggages. She could have simply checked the system to confirm the passenger’s identity but she was just being biased against him. It would be a complete shame for the airline to keep this utterly rude character with zero level of service.

All customers should be treated the same regardless of the status in societies, nationalities, disabilities. What the staff have been trained by the company at the beginning has gone out of window last day of training.
