CCV being back and Idah's usefulness up front has given me renewed hope which I had given up on at half time.

The fact that greenock morton managed to beat motherwell with ease and not alot of effort shows how far off celtic are we are playing like a mid table team week in and out unbelievable how we've dropped so far
I totally agree with you. We shouldn't have to rely on extra time to win the game, The only positive I see is that Celtic didn't stop. They played to the final whistle and won. But With BR saying it didn't matter if they drew today, that stament worries me. Is his heart in the job ?, dosent sound like it.

Rangers could and probably should have bagged 7 or 8 goals from clear cut chances.
They had more shots on goal and more shots on target than Celtic today..
Don't think this is a big turning point. Celtic got outplayed in the first half and took till 94+ minutes to turn the tie.
Ps. Hearts sit third and have taken points off Celtic. And are the in form team.
Motherwell sit 9th in the league and are shakey at best.

Ryan i watched on tv and i was delighted with the second half too, only a few eejits probably were still angry
I was disgusted at half time but the players showed spirit and fight in the second half. Huge credit to them for showing they can deal with immense pressure and expectation. Some fans have big egos and they will stay angry until Rodgers and Lawell are gone. They will still stay in bitter angry mode regardless of how the season goes.
@@dovesfan1 same. I would lay the blame more at lawell's feet than Rodgers. Brendan clearly hasn't been backed and lawell recognised that recently. I would say I hope it's a kick in the arse for him but I'm not sure it will be. Big summer to come regardless of how the season finishes

An excellent save from Super Joe kept us in the game yet again. How many games recently has he saved us. But glad we pushed on, showed some fight and got the win. Idah need to be a starter now. Gives us a better option with the system Rodgers plays 🍀

I cant believe no one has said it yet but its simple , its because he moved his wingbacks from inverted to wide , soon as he done that in the second half it allowed us to bring our midfield into play and open up the park for our wingers. I have no idea why he sticks with his fullbacks moving inside rather than sitting behind the winger and overlapping. Thats what changed the game and the team were able to play to their strengths.

I thought he was much better today. Kept the ball well in tight situations and made positive passes. You want to see rank rotten, see Kuhn on the wing and Maeda in front of goal.

@antokane85 what I mean is when we first signed Idah, everyone was complaining about it, I looked a bit deeper into his stats and stated on a live a few times that his goals per minute was actually really good, and he could do well.... I'm just being a little smug atm, and I hope he keeps it up and proves me right that he was a good signing. 😂🤣
I feel we're being too negative about the first half. Up front we were poor but the speed of passing and fluency at times were far more what we expect. If everyone else could manage half of Maeda's energy we'd be flying. Kühn was frustrating, but if he would stick to running the line instead of cutting inside he could be useful. Especially given he and Maeda were both being covered by 2 defenders when pushing forward. That's actually where Taylor's ball to Idah for the equaliser came from: nobody closed him down there as they were covering Maeda, expecting it to make its way to him.
I fear we might be leaving things too late for a serious title challenge.
That first half reflected no real change from the stuff we have seen all season.
The nearest we can get hatate back fit is mid March. We badly need some imagination in midfield, O'Riley is not providing it at the moment.
If Rodgers somehow manages to win this title, I will eat my Celtic scarfe.

Got out of jail again today. We can't rely on that happening every game. 45 mins isn't enough. The game lasts 90 mins+. Even though we were better in 2nd half we were still not that good, which still is a concern

Massive three points but lets be honest it was another woeful performance. Rodgers is hanging on by the skin of his teeth. Scales has been great this season but his limitations in passing forward are becoming a problem. Nawrocki has been nothing special but atleast looks like he can play a decent pass and a run in the team beside CCV might bring out the best in him. If Rodgers cant get more out of these players then he should be sacked whether we win the league or not.

Ryan, 👁🗨watched & was actually shocked - firstly it was by how well Motherwell actually defended & cleared dangerous situations. Secondly, it was down to how bad Celtic actually were in the final third of the Pitch. Crosses & Shots from Celtic were indeed 'embarrassing' majority of the Game.
