When I first saw the skrulls in super hero squad and the avengers earth's mightiest heroes I saw them as bad guys
When watch the captain marvel movie I expected the skrulls to be bad but instead they are good

I understand what you mean, though the Skrulls are usually villainous in the comics and shows, I tgink the suspension of disbelief and the change Captain Marvel did to the Skrulls is a better choice. Instead of being a generic alien conquering race that shape-shifts like Invasion of the Body Snatchers, they are given more character and are instead refugees trying to escape the fascism of the Kree, which in my eyes is a lot more interesting. Though we could see a percentage of skrulls become villainous in the Disney + series Secret Invasion, I think Marvel adapted the Skrulls for the better.
