F-4違いであるものの偵空に居たこともあり、F-4自体も百里自体も全てが懐かしく感じられた……。
災害などいっぱいあったけど、あそこで過ごした日々は今はもう二度と経験できない宝物。

一年前を思い出させてくれるシーンの数々。

I'm thankful that the JASDF saved 440, but seeing her in the museum is a little shocking, especially since you showed us her last take-off. I think you're right that 440 would also rather be flying through the summer sky above Hyakuri. Thank you. This was a beautiful video.

最高のファントムです。。。
It's a shame that machines in the digital era seem to lack the personality and character of machines of the analog era... Everything seems to feel flat and emotionless now. Nothing can compare to seeing the F-4 or F-14 in flight. Strange to think the digital generation will only hear these machines as videos online one day. Sounds that will never be felt and heard with awe inspiring power in person again. Long live the old guard.
I am with you in these sentiments. My jet was the F-14. I had the privilege of maintaining her for several years. Each one of those jets in the squadron seemed to have its own personality. I miss those times.

ファントムよ約７年間百里でファントムを撮らせてくれてありがとう。
ファントムは永遠の翼です。今でも私たちの心の中で日本の空を飛び続けています。
ﾌｧﾝﾄﾑの歴史に残る瞬間に私達は居たんだなと、、F2が居てF4が居て『帰ってきたな！じゃ、飛ぶよ！』と。
こんな瞬間もう来ないんだ。
そして今は建物や人の手で大事にされた440が静かに落ち着いて、朽ちることなく待機してる。
BGMの妙で日常の飛行訓練が賑やかに爽やかに、用途廃止になってもまだこうして第二の人生を全うしている末っ子笑がｷﾗｷﾗとして見れました。
涙腺が緩みますね〰💦
泣きました。
百里運用終了からもう８ヶ月もたっているというのに。いまだに泣くほど好きなんだなぁと再確認しました。
もうこうなったら一生ファントムを好きでいます。
今の状況が落ち着いて、出掛けられるようになったら、必ず浜松まで会いにいこうと思います😃
時代も世代も超えて愛され続けた稀代の名機。
100年後の未来人達にも充分に伝わると思います。記憶にも記録にも残る素敵な作品有難うございます◎

土曜にファントムイルミネーション見に行って来ました。エンジンを抜かれ開口部から出入りする雀のお宿状態を見て改めてこれは抜け殻なんだなと複雑な気持ちになりました…
その心の穴を埋める為、1-300さんのファントムの作品を改めて視聴させて頂きました。🙇百里でも動態保存される施設が欲しい…😭
しばらくぶりにエアーパークに行って来ました。
現在はコロナ感染予防の措置もだいぶ緩和され、
展示機のコックピット体験（着座）も
一部の機体では再開されましたが、
シシマルは残念ながら見学のみのようでした。
F-4 ファントム 440号機の展示が始まって
初めて実機を目の当たりにした時のことを思い出しました。
「まだ、ガンは残してあるのですよ。」
コックピット見学の列が一段落した頃、
眼の高さをその位置に合わせて正面から見ていたら
その声が耳に入りました。
シシマルに付き添っていらした説明員の方でした。
そして「エンジンも載っていますよ。」とも。
弾丸と火薬と燃料は抜いてありますけれど、
と付け加えて微笑んでおられました。
この機が完全に近い形で残されていることを
喜んでおられるように感じました。
いま思えば『ガン』という呼び方や
そのスマートな体型からして、
かつては戦闘機を操縦、或いは
整備に携わっておられたのかもしれません。
一見、穏やかに佇むのみのようでありながら
現在も機関砲を携え、エンジンを備えた 440号機。
飛ぶことはなくても
魂は保ち続けているのでしょう。
ならば、多分その志も…。
シシマル、任務ごくろうさまです。

この状態で今に残してくれた航空自衛隊にも感謝です。
僕も散々ファインダー越しにはF-4ファントムを見てきましたが
エアーパークで手が届きそうな距離で440を見た時の驚きと感動が忘れられません。
多くの仲間達はもうこの世に姿を留めていませんが、せめて440はずっとその姿を残してほしいです。
いつも素晴らしい動画をありがとうございます。
あのターボジェットエンジンの音が懐かしく感じます。
百里に到着してあのエンジン音が聞こえると毎回わくわくしてました。
F2も好きですが、F4が見れないのは寂しいですね。
あとオジロとカエルのスペマは、保存してほしかったですね（泣）
エンジンの降りている機体を見ると、なんかグッと来ちゃうモノが有りますね。
もし、他に取り溜めたファントムの映像が有る様でしたら出して頂けると嬉しいです。
あと、これからのF2の映像も期待してます。
長年日本の空を護ってくれたPhantomには感謝します。一生に1度でいいからPhantomの飛んでる姿を目にしたかった…

Sad start with "chopping corner" but good memories revived and hope we'll be allowed soon to travel again so will see Shishimaru again now in the new airpark layout.

I am both smiling, and heartbroken. Seeing Phantom 440 flying, along with her squadron mates, and then as a display, brings to mind my own jet, the F-14 Tomcat. The roar of her engines. The way she sliced through the sky. The magnificence of her form. She too, now shares those dreams with the Phantom, the Starfighter, and so many other wonderful machines of bygone eras.
Sometimes, like today, I feel my age.

Another excellent video. Thank you. I've loved the F-4's since I was a kid in the 60's and 70's. It's ironic that the F-16's shown were some of the very planes that began replacing the F-4's in the late 70's - early 80's; and though mostly still in service, are now themselves slowly being rotated out too, as many of the older models are considered obsolete. Anyway, it's great that some of these Old Smokeys have been proudly restored and displayed in these wonderful museums. Others receive a fitting warrior's death on bombing/live fire ranges - their spirits slowly drifting away to the Phantom Paradise....

Very moving video. My first model kit when I was a kid in 1980 was an F-4E Phantom II in 1/72 scale by Hasegawa with the 5000th Phantom livery. Seeing them Phantoms in Clark AFB was always jaw-dropping. As a kid I dreamt of becoming a fighter jet pilot.

The phantom has not yet been exhibited at the Gifu Kakamigahara Aerospace Museum.
I think that the 301st machine, which was the earliest imported in Japan, should be exhibited there.
