Superb tactical skill as usual Vade, especially when taken by surprise. World's luckiest Daimler to survive fire from an entire tank platoon and then multiple rounds sent its way by Vade's team. One question though - is the gunner's sight reticle (the Turmzielfernrohr) in PS adjustable for range or is the reticle fixed and the range circle just a decoration?
It functions very well and is usefull when firing AP rounds. As well you have the little triangles that you can count to find the objective center of the targets, and then reduce elevation to find the part you want to shoot. Incredible game
@@Vade From the many PS tank videos I've watched with you as tank commander, I'd say it's also not that much needed because your range estimates are usually extremely accurate and your gunner rarely has to second guess you! ;) But as you say it's really useful out here in the barren desert - and the KwK36 would have been too! Such a difference in ballistics between the Pz III's tiny 50mm KwK39 and the 88mm FlaK/KwK (I vividly recall one of your Tiger II vids in which you referred to the KwK43 as a "railgun" that didn't need any lead :)) ) I wonder if Panzeraremee Afrika gets the Tiger I in the game, as they did late in the African campaign?
i dont play it anymore, due to my old pc and performance issues, but from all WW2 games, Post Scriptum has BY FAR the best tank combat. gameplay, visuals, sounds, evrything on point.
maybe you could do a vid with a mortar crew, i want to see how effective infantry artillery is on such an open map. or do something with mines, the war in Africa was famous also for its mines.
It takes an adjustment of mindset but infantry can do well. There is a lot more micro cover than hard cover like buildings etc. Rocks, shell craters, destroyed vehicles, dips and trenches in the terrain. It relies on strong coordination between infantry and armour. Probably more so than other maps.
@@tedarcher9120 The medium 50mm isnt that good on those extreme far Distances. Even the thin but angled Crusader Armor can work there. +The Tank which was shot from afar looked for me like a Valentine, which is a lot better armored then Crusader.

Thanks! The reticle is fully functional. Usually you don't need it that much, but at the ranges out here it really gets useful!
