I always thought that they seemed pretty unbalanced. They seem like they would be unbelievably underpowered against Eldar Corsairs or Craftworld Eldar, and Chaos or Imperial fleets with lots of lances would also just be too good against them. I still like the Space Marines though. I like how even in a space battle, one of the main Space marine tactics is to find a way to board the enemy ships and punch them in the face! XD Being able to tailor your fleet to your opponent can really unbalance this game, and I think it's best if you and your opponent can work together to try to come to an agreement to balance the fleets somehow. If you're in a gaming group where you have to use the same list against each opponent in some kind of round-robin format, that would likely go a long way to making things a bit more balanced.
Loving these videos, small comment you often end up talking about an item just off the page that you haven’t scrolled to which makes it hard to see the rules you are referring to, and the page doesn’t fit to the screen when you’re building an army
