  • Arrowquip builds the best manual chute on the market today. This short video shows the ease of operation for one person to handle cattle with the chute. Arrowquip chutes are built for safe and easy operation for the cattle and the handlers. The heavy duty construction will ensure we'll be safely working our cattle for years to come.
    We also used our TruTest XR5000 scale to weigh and record the information from the day's session. Accurately recording information and weights has allowed us to make better management decisions on our ranch.

    Where did you get the red Ivomec bottle/gun holder?

    • @NorheimRanching
      @NorheimRanching  Před 3 lety +1

      We made it ourselves. I think I'm going to have to go into production on it as it's probably the most requested thing I've shown lol

    Where did you purchase the bracket holder for the Ivermectin?

      We actually made it. I'm thinking I might have to go into production on it, it's the most commented thing in the video lol

    Did you make or buy the pour on holder in this video?

    • @NorheimRanching
      @NorheimRanching  Před 3 lety

      We made it in house. It's pretty handy for pour on

      @@NorheimRanching I'd like to see a little video of this deworming drench gun holder your using. I've looked online multiple times and have come up empty handed. Any info would be appreciated

      @@michaelcouch9003 I'll see what I can craft up for you. It's so popular, we may have to venture into manufacturing lol

    Great system. Are the scales as accurate as the look?

    • @NorheimRanching
      @NorheimRanching  Před 3 lety +3

      Thanks. The scales are quite accurate. We're using a TruTest XR5000 with an SRS2 RFID Stick reader and the HD1010 load bars are mounted underneath the chute. Overall very happy with the scale system

    Do u like the parralell squeeze? Im looking at an 86 or 74 q catch

    • @NorheimRanching
      @NorheimRanching  Před 3 lety +2

      We really like the parallel squeeze. Arrowquip has made it so easy to operate that I wouldn't go with a different style. If you're looking at a QCatch chute, go for the 87 series. The price difference is minimal and you get all of the options that you want, including a built in vet cage.

    If you run big bulls thru there I bet u look under your floor and it’s bent at front where animals feet are. Mine is on load bars like that and it keeps bending already on third floor

      Do you have any issues catching and holding the bulls with the parallel head gate? That seems to be a common complaint
