Was there an arrow on the edge of your new filter? Did you point it up or down? Did it say "UP" next to the arrow? If it didn't say up then it should point down in the direction of the air flow.
@@youchannel5880 Arrow only points up IF it says UP next to the arrow. Most brands have arrows that indicate air flow direction and should point down. Dirt collects on the topside of the old filter indicating that dirty air enters the top of the filter and flows downward.
