I have 3 of these. I keep getting another one when I can't play the games I want to play. I guess I should look into fixing them.
The error I seem to get most is that it won't recognize the disc I just loaded as an Xbox disc -- even though it is. Could it just be a dirty lens?
Look at softmodding (new endgame exploit with rocky5 softmod) and then upgrading the HDD eventually and download and store your games on an upgraded internal HDD. I've got 500gb in mine with countless games, and still a lot of room.
Dirty lens, caps or resistor packs also.

@@Techbabblers yup it happends to alot of old stuff. These days I try to work on stuff as new as possible because than theres a high chance of success but for video's it's nice to work on older items :)
