  • For the Fall Break Compilation, here we have a compilation consisting of LAFD videos I hand picked that I deemed fit for the compilation. Videos range from Hollywood, Skid Row, the Valley, West LA and Many more! This is also the second compilation to feature an electric fire engine with the first ever for the Rosenbauer RTX. Some units seen here have recently entered service as well as recently retired! I hope you enjoy the compilation!

    I'm totally amazed at the total disrespect and disregard that other drivers and even a bicyclist have for the Fire trucks when they get a call.
    You need to STOP and give PLENTY of room for these fire trucks responding to emergency calls.
    People are so self-centered about their travels.

    Does any siren nerd wanna give me a run down on what all sirens are in this video? I know there’s a Whelen 295slsa6 in here and a federal signal Q siren, but that’s all I know

    • @DFW_04
      @DFW_04 Před rokem

      Glad you asked. Other than the Q2B being on pretty much everything LAFD’s older vehicles mostly have Motorola Astro Spectra’s equipped, while newer trucks have Whelen 295 or cencom sirens, and newer battalion cars and some rescues have Code 3 Z3’s

      The 200 engines in the LAFD are part of a "light force." Which just means a truck and engine. When a truck company gets a call, one or 2 of the truckies gets in the 200 series engine and go's with the truck.
