Don't drive on ice was performed by The Sisters or Mercy for the first time on the gig in Groningen in the Netherlands on april 3rd and has been a part of the setlist ever since. This means the song has been performed 17 times as of now and it started as number 2 on the setlist but has climbed up a notch and been the solid opener for the last 11 gigs. An excellent choice of an opener if you ask me.
It has been quite interesting following the development of the song so far on this tour. At the first gigs the song had a chorus with different variations of the
From the wrong side-Flame on-Looking at a river bits but from what I've heard on the latest gigs there just Don't drive on ice all over the place and nothing else. To me it feels like a Kill your darlings/Less is more kind of development of the choruses and completely natural while working on the arrangement of a song. My version is based on the earlier versions.

It's absolutely absurd that this is how we have to listen to new Sisters material in high quality, but thank you. You do a very good job of re-creating these tracks from live recordings.

haha, that's really funny. I have recorded There's a door and made a mix yesterday that I'm ok with so I will just make a little video for it so get ready! :) I guess the video will be done within 1-2 weeks. I'm almost done with Here also and then it's time to start recording Eyes of Caligula :)

Thanks! The reason why the drums in Genevieve is so great is because Gabriel took care of the production. Haha :) he's the master getting the Sisters-sound. I did the vocals and bass on Genevieve and he did the rest meaning guitars, mix and master :)
