For a man who despises record labels you would think the internet would allow him a direct link to sell SoM music w/o interference, yet aside from a good live version of Suzanne, he hasn't done jack. It's a shame because these songs are excellent.
@@tylerskiss He's lazy. There's no other word for it. Ben and Dylan have basically forced him into writing and performing new material which is, for the most part, excellent. It'll never see the light of day as long as he keep being eldritch. People will complain about the mixes at shows and the lack of new releases till the cows come home, but as long as they keep paying to see him, they're giving him cause to keep coasting. I feel sorry for Ben especially, who has stuck by him for longer than he deserves.
I hope they get that response when I see them two (!) days from now on my birthday. I just see myself standing slack jawed and confused. My fave band ever.
I've seen Andrew and his Boy Group 5 or 6 times live, more often than any other group. I own all (but "The Damage Done" 1980 and the "Alice" Single) official mercifully released LPs, Singles, EPs and CDs, ever. Please, sister Eldritch have mercy on a loyal fan-boy since evah an record some of your new songs in the studio.
Keeping up with a "Boy Group" is probably the healthiest life choice he's ever made. And give those lads their due for giving him a kick in the backside.
@@solitarianihilista1454 just kidding mate, I'm one of those who are satisfied with the new sisters tracks. You probably aren't, it's ok, everyone is entitled to his / her opinion.
@@GothicCrypt I actually like a lot of the new songs, particularly Don't Drive On Ice. Unfortunately, the quality of the new material only shows up how badly his voice is shot, as it has been for years. Whoever thought we'd see the day when the weakest link in the Sisters line-up was Eldritch himself? Maybe the rest of the band will fire him and get another singer in. Worked out alright for Wayne and Craig.

Sadly missing better guitarists of the past like Marx and Hussey - these two are pale imitations. Imagine how good this song could be. Still, a decent song.
lol those two "pale imitations" wrote this song. Every guitarist has made the Sisters sound completely different, that's rather the point according to Mr Eldritch.
The Sisters are back in business, so fucking hot the new songs 😜😎
Wowww. Imagine These new Songs in Studio quality. This Song is one of the best They done. Only minus Point: tooo short

I can imagine, and yes, it is indeed a bit short for my liking...
But they are many and we are few.

Geiler Song und die Grimassen vom "Chef" sind legendär 😎!

So that didn't happen... But I did see them in June. But they didn't do this song in Detroit. Fucking love this one.

Remembering good bands like mercy in Peru .....
FFS release the new tracks on an album! Cmon, we'll even pretend it's not goth!
How about instead they pretend to release an album and we pretend it's not crap?
@@solitarianihilista1454 if you think the new songs are crap, let's pretend you're deaf mate
