AfterGlow - FREE After Effects Preset for a Better Glow

AfterGlow is a free animation preset for getting brighter, larger glows with better falloff. To download, go to CreationEffects.com, and click on the Freebies page. If you download the glow, please like or comment below.
Place the .ffx file in your Presets folder, then access the effect anytime in After Effects, and apply it to your layer just like you would with the old Glow effect. With AfterGlow, you can get an exponential glow that is much more intense at the edge, and has an increasingly gradual falloff. The result is a brighter, more realistic glow with a large faint glow surrounding the entire layer. Since it uses the normal built-in Glow effect (but improves it), the customization controls are the same and will be familiar to you. The glow works on the alpha channel of a layer, as well as on your footage. You can adjust the "Factor" controls to customize the ratio of the light falloff, giving you more control. Adjust the large faint glow separately, and easily create "glow streaks", and rotate them with the controls.

Can you use this ti make jewelries glow?

It works similarly to the standard Glow effect, so it makes the brightest parts of your footage glow. If the jewelry has bright spots that is lighter than the rest of the footage, it will glow. Or another way to make it only affect the jewelry, you can put the effect on an adjustment layer, and draw mask on it that goes around the jewelry.
