This first performance had me reeling. The “hooty hoot” and stepy steps had me smiling but then I remembered we just watched a witch perform magic… loved this so much

As creepy as it is, I loved it! Penn was enjoying himself too. The guy had to really try not to smile at moments that were made funny by the judges.
Like some of David's jokes. He still managed to stay in character and not laugh or smile at any point.

I loved Penn enjoying every last second of their act.
not to mention he's like the only judge who didn't mock the performance and try to ruin the mood especially like in the second performance.
I kind of think they Penn was in on it... There's just no way he would've chosen that word at random as well as the story just so happened to end with that word.

I love the witch. I'm curious why he was wearing a black wig, silicone appliances, and fake teeth on his first audition, but in subsequent performances he looked so different. His voice even got deeper after this.

I think it shows what a great performer he is though. Didn’t break character, was patient through their reactions, handled the pressure; if anything all the joking may indicate just how uncomfortable and freaked out the judges were which speaks volumes to his performance
But on the 3rd time, he got revenge 😁
