- The conclusion of this truck. In previous videos I showed the mechanical work done and the interior makeover. This video shows what went into bringing exterior back to life. Extra detail is presented in adding the pinstripe tape.
I just started taking apart a 1981 F150 to paint it, this is incredibly helpful.
Thanks for watching! Glad it helped.
Nice work sir!
Thank you!

Excellent work, great looking truck. I’m in search of a bull nose ford myself, but it’s not easy to find one in fair condition near me (Michigan). Anyhow, great video. I subscribed to continue to pick up tips restoration tips from you.

Wow! Nice work. Just became a sub.
SWEET!!
Great video man nice work
Thanks!
Should’ve bought one of those Wizzy wheels off Amazon to take stickers those pinstripes off after using one I bought 10 of them just to have on hand for things like that
Thanks for the tip! I've seen those things but was unsure about how well they work. I'll give it a try.
Put you a Georgia Bulldog plate on it and it'll be complete!
For Sure :)
i have an odd question, could you measure the total height of the cab from the outside? it should be between 51-54 inches, could you verify that if possible? Or you could measure the total height, and then measure from ground to cab corner, and i'll subtract the difference, that'd work too
I sure would but I have sold the truck, sorry.
Do you have a list of the product that you used? I have just started the adventure of getting My 185 F-250 fixed up.
I don't have a master list of everything but if you need specific info on some particular item I might be able to find it. Thanks for watching.
Wow! I wonder if I can find someone I can trust with mine. I’m scared. Seen so many CRAP paint jobs.
If you make sure they put plenty of paint on it (3 coats or more) you can color sand and buff and end up with a pretty good job. Good luck!
@@DickShaw if I get it painted a solid color I could. I wanted it two tone since that’s what it is. It’s the lariat edition. I wanted to restore the exterior back to what it was. The body is also in wonderful condition no dents or dinks just very faded paint.
@@KaityWebster perhaps it would possible to just bring the original paint back to life with some rubbing compound.
Lloksgood
I cant believe no companies are interested in making interior trim products for bullnose fords.
I’m curious if lmc truck wouldn’t have what you need
@@user-lw7ir1hm8h They do have some things
