I feel its more because of the new team mates of CC as CC needs to operate that optimize her best attributes. They need to really help on screens for CC when the opponents are blitzing her with defense. The coach need to help CC on that similar to Steph with the warriors. Look at CC first 3pt, there was a screen though it was a soft one, freed CC a little bit to drain the 3pt comfortably
Too many turnovers but still scored 20:in the last 25 minutes. She will adapt to the more physical play and improve despite the short-sited , negative comments almost exclusively spewed by black folks.
Why isnt Coach running plays for her like Kerr did for Stephen Curry

She broke the scoring titles of college athletes that had the three pointer. She did NOT break records of athletes that only had two pointers available. Apples to oranges. I think she will be one of the great ones, eventually. She is a rookie, eat the humble pie.

The problem with being primarily a 3 specialist only, you are going to have defenders glued to you which will make it very tough to hit threes, plus even if Clark makes good passes there's really no one big enough in the paint to make a shot. This being her first WNBA game, she struggled but as the season progresses, she'll find her way. Truth be told, I would NOT want all the fanfare that she got! There's just too much expectation to be fantastic and I for one couldn't or wouldn't want that much pressure on me. Clark will definitely have a target on her back this being her first season and other players will want to prove that all the attention she got wasn't deserved. It'll be interesting to see how the rest of the season plays out.

People just couldn’t wait to tear her down… it’s one game - not to mention she’s had less than a month of practice with an entirely new team. Let’s get through the halfway point of the season before we start this stuff.
I thought the commentators were perfectly fair in this video - but when you say ridiculous things like "I think she'll be flirting with a triple double every night" as LaChina Robinson did yesterday, you're blowing up a hype balloon that's guaranteed to be popped. It's great that Clark is bringing attention to the WNBA, but the announcers need to be objective and not say stupid things just because they're fan-girling or trying to generate more hype or whatever it is. If somebody on ESPN said "Paul Skenes is going to flirt with 15 Ks every start" people would rightly be snickering when that prediction quickly fails to pan out.

Treat her like Steph and Reggie Miller. They run through 4 or 5 screens each possession. The goal is to win. Don't run your offense like the Thunder in the Westbrook years.
