Since mirrors are coated with Silver oxide, which is silver in colour. When printer emit light in scanning process the mirror absorb all the light. Hence it is observed as black.

What causes mirrors to turn black?
If it hits a mirror, it reflects off at only one angle, the specular reflection angle which satisfies the angle of incidence equals the angle of reflection. If the light detector in the copier is not located so that the specular reflection angle is collected by it, then a mirror will appear black.

When the printer prints mirror
The light which was coming from printer, mirror reflects it and the colour comes black.
Because printer is receiving white colour the output is vise-versa, means black

Your printer's scanner use UV light to scan and we know glass mirror absorb UV light. That's why the mirror turns black.

The mirror appeared black in printed image because according to the printer's view, it was black. That is because as the mirror is touching the printer's scanner, there was no light passing between them. So, there was no light for the mirror to reflect. Due to that the view of the mirror for the Printer's scanner is black and it print black image inside the frame of the mirror.

Nope, mirror reflects everything, as of sensor individually accepts each basic lights separately that is 📚 red green and blue, all combined the resulting color is black ⚫
