My mother was Samantha's merch girl for quite some time, I was honored to meet this world class blues/ rockabilly woman early in life. I easilly saw 20 or 30 shows of hers (mostly with gogo ray) from the time I was 7 to 13. Still to this day one of the biggest musical inspirations of mine.
Both correct! I was decidedly fortunate to see world class music up close and personal at such a young age, it remains as some of my fondest childhood memories to this day.
It's really entertaining watching Samantha as she is completely at ease while she is performing with full confidence in whatever playing. Her guitar playing is also very proficient. The crowd is under her complete control. Really versatile singer and guitarist.
I'm a 66 year old Granny and I am going to see Samantha in Bristol this Saturday. I had never heard of her till my Son asked me to get her latest album for his birthday and I got curious and had a listen WOW just when I thought I would die if I didn't hear some good live music soon along comes Samantha to save my life ♥ Saturday 7th March is gonna be EPIC I can't wait.
@@pennsyltuckyden9823 WE went and it was as amazing as I thought it would be plus as a bonus I didn't catch the evil virus :-) My Son took me and he was so impressed he bought an electric guitar and has been learning ever since as he really wants to play blues, he's 48 and it's changed his life. I'm glad we went as shortly after that the virus ramped up and I am spending all my time home alone not even allowed out to shop as I have COPD and am on a steroid medication that means my immune system is lower and the virus would no doubt kill me. We have already booked tickets to go and see Samantha again next March at Komedia in Bath and I can't wait. No damn virus is gonna stop me either....even if it kills me my ghost will go LOL x I am expecting a blues version of happy birthday via a facebook video chat on my birthday too LOL

Samantha Fish is the full package musical lyrical and outstanding performer I feel blessed to have discovered her thank you Samantha for keeping great music alive.
I also agree, and I agree with the comment that she ... well ... not that she actually needs GoGo Ray back , but GoGo is a great drummer and it helps to have the best band members possible in a band. Just curious of why GoGo Ray is not in the band now. Does anyone know? Hmmm... peaks my curiosity! 🤔 😎
@@wrdlmbrt1956 Go Go Ray is a drum teacher . I understand he has gone back to teaching and playing in local bands. Maybe her change in style didn't suit Ray. Present drummer is very good and suits the band . I'm a great fan of the band.
Samantha has come a long way in her artistry. Seeing this more recent performance, I have to say she is ready for the big time. What a powerfully moving set! Every song is a keeper. The performance is well honed throughout, hairspray couldn’t keep up. Good band. Her authenticity and generosity are a big draw. She deserves to chart regularly.
I was at this show at World Cafe - in front of the stage to the right - and she was totally amazing. She stayed for 90 minutes afterwards at a meet and greet. Great video - thank you.

Her style is so pure and rock n roll. I love her commitment to the tone and experimentation. I agree tho with the feedback about tuning and fiddling with pedals. Keep focus on the playing and feeling.
Even as the rest of the band is leaving the stage, she is throwing picks, balls up one set list to throw and then finally grabs the horns set list and hands it off. Gotta love seeing an artist demonstrate that level of appreciation for the fans.

Fantastic Show. I've seen her 4 times in two years and ONE thing is consistent. THEY get more entertaining each time. Band is more involved, audience is more involved and setlist is more comprehensive. XPN was late on this bandwagon so hopefully we get to hear more of her going forward on the air in Philly. Samantha is a meticulous performer and CLASS act. The voice and songwriting are what keep me as a fan. The ease of incorporating interesting sound variations with multiple guitars may be her signature but I consider that to be a bonus to the songs/singing alone!
I agree with everything you said. I've seen her 4 times in the last two years, and met her twice. She was just starting to work some of the new songs into the set list when I saw her in Flagstaff back in June, so I look forward to next year's tour.

I saw her live in Leuven last wednesday. It was amazing. There were 2 keyboard players then.
