What's so absurd about Alabama's facilities is that this is just one room-- this is just the recruiting hall! The actual football facility is state of the art and opulent too. The players lounge is jam packed with flatscreen 4K HD TVs with PS4s & X Boxs. Hell, there's even a miniature arcade built into the back of the room! The weight room is universally considered the best in all of football-- college & NFL combined.
They just broke the mold in football facilities this past summer by opening a brand new dining hall for players that is light years ahead of the competition. The dining hall has 3 full time gourmet chefs on staff with specialties in sports nutrition who prepare the meals that players must eat in order to maintain the proper nutrition. Players don't have to worry about maintaining the proper diet on their own anymore. Now they have their meals prepared for them by gourmet chefs trained in sports nutrition!
The rehabilitation and training clinic is among the most technologically advanced in the nation. And while all other college programs are handicapped with limited practice space, Alabama has 3 practice fields-- one for offense, defense, and special teams; and each field matches the exact dimensions, goalposts, and playing surface of Bryant Denny Stadium.
That's what seperates Alabama from everyone else. They have all the brand new, good looking, state of the art shit too, but their stuff has always been grounded in function and practicality first. The athletic dept. only installs the most useful, practical, and efficient new equipment when undergoing upgrades. Alabama doesn't believe in merely shuffling the furniture around and slapping a new coat of paint on the walls to make something look good. No, they believe in acquiring the things that actually make you better at your job.

I mean really, I think all at Alabama would love to see some examples as we now have another $600,000,000.00 (that's six hundred million dollars) set aside for facility upgrades and some ideas might be helpful.

Sense of Tumor - Yes but our best recruiting tool, and to me the craziest of Alabama's recent stats is that we had 12 players drafted last year and another 4 are currently on NFL practice squads. 16 players from one year all drawing NFL paychecks. Simply absurd and just an unbelievable recruiting tool. Nick wins championships, yes, but he also produces millionaires faster than Harvard Law.

This is very cool -- But the best part of this is NO other school can replicate what Bama has EARNED in the players awards, conference championships, and National Championships. I doubt other programs have the # of NFL players actively in the league as Bama has now which recruits can not only think 'cool/wow' but recognize that person by name because many of them are IN the league playing now. :) Lastly,.. along the same lines - Money can't buy 5 National Championship trophies to display out of the last 9 years. (Much less all the others from 92, then bryant years etc).

LSU currently has more players in the NFL as of week 1 of the 2018 schedule.
Actually, money can buy championships. Countless programs have tried to do it on multiple occasions. Alabama has been caught giving illegal benefits too. They weren't the first and they won't be the last, but you never know what can surface with the NCAA. Get this, every single program can commit tens of NCAA violations a year. They are minor, and self-reported, but every program does it. Imagine what else they try to get away with.
GuessTechSports - I would like to sort of correct something in what you said. While the accolades are wonderful, and appreciated, I think I would be remiss in not pointing out that that Alabama is far far behind many other teams when it comes to "player awards". This part where 'Bama players are winning Heisman Trophies and such is, mostly, a new phenomenon of the Saban era. As an older member of the Alabama family I can now laughingly tell you that for a long long time Alabama actually took great pride in our lack of individual player accolades. It's all about Team with a capital T was always the statement. It is rather stunning to think that Mark Ingram won our first Heisman. There have been a number of reasons for this through the years but the truth is the truth, when it comes to individual player awards, well, that is one area that Alabama trails far behind many other schools.

Check out Nebraska's players awards. 43 conference championships. 357 total players drafted to the NFL. 3 Heisman trophy winners. 70 Academic All Americans, the list goes on and on and on. I think you will find it interesting if you start looking at what that program has accomplished. Only team to go 60-3 in 5 years. Bama was close to that, but not quite. Also, check out their facilities. It will blow your mind.

You should check out the rest of their facilities-- the locker rooms, the sports rehabilitation and training center, the players lounge, and weight room. All are state of the art and insanely opulent. The weight room in particular is absolutely sick. It's recognized as being the best in all of football-- college & NFL combined!
Oh, and now they've got a football-only dining hall they just opened where there are 3 full time gourmet chefs on staff to prepare the players food to ensure they meet the requirements of their prescribed eating regimens. I signed up and took one of the tours of the football building they offer back during this past summer. I was absolutely floored by it.
P.S: I've seen Oklahoma's facility also, and, yes, they're absolutely amazing as well. I like what OU did there. The only other historically elite program whose facilities stand on the same level as Alabama & Oklahoma's facilities is USC. USC has a badass place also that they've renovated in recent years, and is also filled with the same big time trophies & championship hardware Bama and OU have in their buildings.
I went to Oklahoma. Graduated 2016.....Yes.....this is wayyyyyyyyyyyyy better......Just being honest.
