I really enjoy watching this, especially the catch and cooks (land or water) OSG is an amazing part of your videos too!! So nice that the family enjoys wild game. You get to eat very well without spending every cent you have at the grocery store!!!

Here's crappie dish you might like, I call it Chopped Crappie. Diced onion, bell pepper, and spring onions. Olive oil and butter in a pan sautee the onions and pepper until softened, remove from pan. Add more butter and your patted dry crappie filets, cook until white and start chopping them up with the edge of your spatula and add your onions, peppers and spring onions(scallions) back in. If you have some left over white rice you can add that, actually recommend it, or you can serve it stirred into some cooked buttered pasta of your choice. Not to be forgotten, season with salt and pepper every stage of cooking, OR some sort of you favorite spice blend. OSG, will know how to make it her own.

LakeForkGuy bro later into the fall I am going to be trying another type of Crappie fishing. I know you’ve seen the BFS rods and reels. I think it would be cool to toss a Snacky or a Bumpin Bug on an ultra light baitcaster. For years I’ve Crappie fished like most all of us has with spinning gear. I was about to quit fishing because things were getting super stale for me. Now that I’ve gotten into BFS it’s brought me back to where I used to be.
I always find panfish videos more enjoyable than bass fishing ones. Good to see you get some little tasties and put Rob onto some too.

You being a crappie guy I'm sure has heard about the crappie chronicles up here in MN. You should check out that cook book they put out all about cooking crappie. I think it's called the frozen kitchen on Amazon. Be cool to see you make some of those.

I was curious about that too. I've got a bunch of white bass. I cut the red out when I cleaned them but so should be fine with just regular corn meal but i would like to try something seasoned already to go right out of the bag.

There is a Greek seasoning blend whose name I don't remember, but it makes a nice examining for the youngest that don't like spicy blackened. Made for my son and ex in-laws.
Many many years ago my dad took me crappie fishing and I have a picture of us with a string full of them. To this day I have not gone crappie fishing and am getting full swing into it right now. Hoping I can get on them at Lake arrowhead in my kayak. Are there specific bite times I should aim for? Planning on being out on the water most of the day and I'm mainly gearing up for crappie but you know I can't go without having at least 1 or 4 fat Sally lures. Haha.

I feel like ever since rob and Sarah split a lot of the people associated with rob distanced themselves. It’s nice to see him starting to hang out with y’all.
I think it was more that Rob distanced himself from them so he could get his head back where it needed to be, a break up of any kind, let alone a marriage, takes it's toll in all sorts of ways 🤷♂️ remember just because they don't film together as much anymore doesn't mean they don't still hang out mann.
