- Go Behind-the-Scenes with Master Portrait Artist, Tim Kelly, as he captures striking senior portraits of Elijah. Outside images are added to the collection in just minutes with Tim's off-camera Godox lighting.
This is a REAL CLIENT, not a creation for video - but, you're invited to follow along.
Viewers always say Tim makes it look easy, but for the most part, it comes down to being able to critique your own work, refining each pose or set-up until you are fully satisfied. You must be secure enough to say, "ah, let's fix this, or,I need your fill light a little closer". Make the search for the awesome exposures a joint effort - and have fun! Your results will be the evidence.

Great vid. Nice to see men modelling techniques.
Thanks!
Very timely. I’ve recently been asked to do a bunch of senior portraits. I’ve been a landscape photographer for decades but never before ventured seriously into portraits. You’re a lifesaver.
Great video
Thanks! And thanks for watching!

What white balance you set Auto or kelvin
This is really amazing. 🔥🔥🔥🔥Could you share how you edited the photos in a new video pls. 😊
He only had some skin issues. Nothing much to edit if you light it well, balance the background tones and pay attention to details.
I have some other videos on "culling" and on retouch techniques.
Tim Kelly's Master Photo Techniques thanks so much. Will check it out. Love your work. I’m now starting out and I’m learning so much from you.
@@TimKellysMasterPhotoTechniques curious if you edited out his braces? Would like to see some of his smiles
Hi Tim you are taking very nice pictures. I would like to ask if it is possible for you to include iso, F parameters for each photo? Thank you
My normal exposure is about 1/160 @f/11. I adjust lighting and exposure via output power on my light sources. Thanks for watching!
was that light above a continous light ?
No. I only use strobe with good modeling lamps.
So, nobody could make a proper Windsor knot!
My assistant and I can.
