I’m an arsenal fan, I think we need to stay consistent, can’t be talking about a league title until Christmas, any team can trip up, people seem to forget how young our team is and how well we’re playing but need to stay level headed
As an arsenal fan I hate title contention talk. It was never our aim. We look good and have been consistent but the focus should be top 4. All that comes with title talk is a humbling. Just enjoying the moment for now
@@alfiemiller9284 we’re top of the league of course we’re contenders, not favourites but defo contenders
Also I think we must sign another ST and holding midfielder such as Douglas Luiz, Man City’s quality comes from squad depth
I am arsenal fan too and I will not talk about title until May next year God willing.
If we can nail on top 4 as early as possible and go for the Europa league title I would be happy .
As an arsenal fan I want us to get top 4 and aim to win the europa league. That would be a fantastic season
Yes, but winning the EPL when everyone underestimated us would equally be sweet.
As a arsenal fan I wanna win everything 😁
@@OkA-007 I mean that wouldn't really be equally sweet lol, that would be much sweeter obv. But the sights of the real fans are set on T4 and take it game by game. Its gonna be a long season
Why should’ve we aim for a title?
Man utd say hi
If Arsenal can stay close to City by January and strengthen well in the transfer window, it could be a very interesting season for them.
no reason they cant considering they dont play city till next year
Anything can happen with the world cup in the middle of the season lol I just hope we stay close to the top like u said
they've just got to keep doing what they're doing and hope for an amazing 90 minutes against city, easier said then done but its that simple
Chelsea fan in peace here.I don't care about derby rivals.I would be delighted if either Arsenal or Newcastle win the league this season.I am unhappy that Pep Guardiola has established Man City's monopoly on Premier League.
the way city are playing i cannot see any team beating them
The media is pushing this "are Arsenal title contenders?" narrative just to bash them later on in the season when they eventually start tripping up.
*If... not when
@@Juu_omwale no its definitely when..
Tbf they need to try to create drama and tension for views. City running away with the league by Xmas is not good for the execs.
@@riansillett2771 yea, it’s definitely when because every team trips up
@@mrtoad1408 good point
I am Tottenham fan but I must acknowledge that arsenal are so good this season they look well balanced and great style of play. Hard for me to say that as spurs fan
Tottenham are also playing well, they can definitely end in the top 4.
Can't be praising us as a spurs fan. Just not appropriate lol
@@miguelboaventura6058 no they havent lol even spurs fans would tell u that. at least they are still geting results
@@miguelboaventura6058 we are poor this season just scrapped wins
Both Arsenal & Spurs are not a Champion quality team........ they will end up choking end of season and trophyless.
To be honest, as an Arsenal supporter I don't care about being taken seriously as a title contender. We're playing well and have generated a fabulous atmosphere around us - the focus should just be on continuing to improve and on maintaining that connection with the supporters. The rest(challenging for the title/top 4 or winning a trophy ) will fall into place on its own.
Exactly, it's so refreshing to hear the fans chanting even when we concede. The fans, players and manager are on the same page for the first time in over a decade.
Reminder: this team was built without ucl football for 6 years, the ready made stars are yet to be added in
Saying Jesus isn't a ready made star is a bit disrespectful tbh
3 years not six

Honestly if thomas Partey stays fit we can definitely challenge City for the league. Partey is our most important player no doubt.
Odegaard more imp
Partey the wheel that keeps us turning
Yes and the game that he was absent. We lost
@@mi_mo_sa9007 he is the our worst player in our starting 11 he can't shoot

Bellingham should join Arsenal
Newcastle fan here. As a neutral when it comes to this subject, it is brilliant to see Arteta and Arsenal succeeding. A young attacking team at the top of the league. Personally I think Manchester City will win the league, but Arsenal should definitely get top 4. That should be the target. Being able to offer champions league football next season will only help Arteta make the squad even stronger.
The atmosphere around the club seems completely different. Only a few months ago it was Kroenke out demonstrations around the Emirates. Now the fans are dreaming of league titles. This league is so much better when there are new competitors at the top of the league.
If they were to finish 4th that would be a massive disappointment to most Arsenal fans, especially given that they are currently top of the league after 9 games.
@@johnmitchell2269 hahaah nah bro havent finished 4th in time, ill take champions league again man
@@lukehanrahan2941 No ambition.
@@johnmitchell2269 thank u. Idk why so many arsenal fans can’t expect more now that we’ve seen more this season. We will lose and draw matches but this team is different
Not for much longer
Arsenal now have had really tough fixtures aswell, out of 9 games they played 3 of the top 6 and also palace and brentford away.
🤣
@@markcross125 ?? Arsenal has played 3 out of their 10 top 6 fixtures.
Man City only played 1 of their 10 fixtures against top 6 - somehow Man City keeps drawing against weak sides (Aston Villa, NewCastle).
Arsenal on paper already look better than City L000l - If Guardiola draws 1 or 2 more games, I think Arsenal wins the league.

Rio is a great pundit tbh. He talks about teams without any bias, especially being ex utd. Is a rare thing these days, pundits are just famboys for their teams now.
He has changed over time and has been humbled by his own teams troubles over the years..... I will never forget the way him and alot of other "pundits" mainly his United mates have always had snidy things to dig at Arsenal.... He has called us spineless, Disgracefull, pathetic etc they loved the Drama... At the end of last season Roy Kean said we will never get top 4 ever period we blew it other teams will catch up with us and overtake us easily.. Gary Neville saying Massive pressure on Arteta no pressure on Ten Hagg first game of the season at Crystal palace not even kicked a ball yet... It is good to hear us getting the credit but alot of the troubles of the past were caused by this lot they used to stick the knife in at any given opportunity....
Roy keane, Gary neville should never be pundits. Too bias and
He used to annoy the hell out of me - but I agree the other pundits aren’t smart enough or too white or too biased. Rio is worthwhile listening.

Not a single genuine Arsenal fan inc myself believe that we are going to compete for the title this season. A top 4 and Europa final or FA cup final would be a great season. This team is 2/3 solid new players away from competing.
We are comfortably the second best team, top 4 is a guarantee
@@syrkon27 top 4 is a must now, but if we keep this group together over the next years, an if we will adjust our squad over the next 2 or 3 years, something special will happen
Man citys main focus is the CL. They will be distracted at some point. Nobody is saying arsenal are favourites. They r just saying there is a possibility that in the right circumstances arsenal may bcome champions.
we need 2/3 more summer transfer windows, with arteta at the helm
Arsenal breath of fresh air tbh
Was getting tired or the Liverpool/city era didn’t really feel authentic
@@XxKinGzxX100 as a city fan it’s good to see arsenal an Man Utd back on the rise again, We might just see the historic rivalry between them both again like the Fergie wenger days! As an Arsenal fan, we're in the best position weve been in since we had Eduardo upfront.. the year we should have won the league. But I'm not getting ahead of myself, it takes one injury to ruin our season... We need to keep momentum up and players fit and well see towards later stages.
It’s upsetting that Arsenal have some of the worst injuries seen in the EPL. Eduardo, Ramsey and diaby.
Should have won it the year Leicester did. Cazorla getting injured ended Arsenal's title push.
@@en4m3y 100% agree!! That's why it's hard to get carried away with the title charge. Future is definitely bright though!! Love em
We go game by game. And become a consistent team for a title contender. Hope we will survive the mediacore of bad luck after Chrismas. COYG!
That was a bad injury...I was at that game in Birmingham smh.
I'm an Arsenal fan and honestly the way city this season I'm thinking they have a great chance of going unbeaten. Fingers crossed it doesn't happen
Rio is the only one whose not afraid to tell the truth his confident about Arsenal
Gary Nevil one of the great snake.
Only the media is going on with this "Are Arsenal title contenders?" Agenda. Arsenal fan are just looking at the beautiful football we playing.
Yes the ownership has put their trust in arteta now they have to also show him the real money 💰 to continue the process properly
At this point looking how Man City is performing and Arsenal I have 0 doubts at this moment Man City is in a league of his own even last game against Southampton that usually are quite complicate to attack when they sit back and the complete domination and countless chances was just unreal. Arsenal are doing a remarkable job but is nowhere near the way Man City create chances and goals and controlling the games. Finished the season second is an unbelievable thing for Arsenal so nothing to complain about it
Did u watch them against kopenhagen? Newcastle? Theyre not unbeattable and defo not superhuman like evryone makes out
Definitely contenders. Liverpool and Spurs game were big statements. The United game was slightly unfortunate. Arsenal have the tools to finish top 4 amd they should do so.
Ref won the game against Liverpool
Hmm
Ref won game for arsenals
@@ashunknown9728 because he made all the correct calls?
winning the europe league, a domestic cup and a 2nd place league finish IS the expectation for now
I'm an Arsenal fan. The league is City's. We'll have a usual Arsenal spell somewhere in the league. I'll be ecstatic with a top 4 finish.
Nahhh man we gotta raise expectations to top 3 now.
Top 4 and beating Spurs in the league would be nice
We should be aiming higher than top 4 I think we can get 2nd behind city or 3rd at least
But as Arsenal fans I think its quite naïve to say we dnt wanna challenge for the league because City are too strong but at the same time we want Champions League qualification where we will probably face some of the best teams in Europe...so im thinking that yeah if we are too play Champions League football we might as well compete on the highest level now, then or else there wld no need for us to play at Champions League level just to show up.
@@ahmadmasike6834 Champions league and the League are different beast’s.. Champions league is about being able to play the best and keep up with them.. in the league it’s about consistently beating smaller teams away from home without any slip ups.. I don’t think we’re quite there for that
I think they’re still 3 signings away from the title but they seem like a great team already!!!
They’re a Trossard and a Jorginho away
Yes top four is what I expect this season if we win the league that will be icing on the cake
As an Arsenal fan the only thing that’s worrying is in most positions we are one injury away from battling for top 4 again...
They could be title conteders, arsenal tends to cramble November, December but this time the world cup break is in their favour as long as they sign another midfielder in January they could go on a run after the world cup
true the players get injured it would be a massive task trying to keep up with city with there squad depth
Every club crumble during those periods... Chelsea were at the top of the league last season until november and they crumble.. I remember Man Utd also crumble when they were at the top of the league during the covid era and then bottled it to City
@@purnamamerindu8166 check arsenal stats November, December from as far back as 2008 they crumble more than any other team in these two months
L’objectif pour cette saison c’est le top 4 mais la méforme des habitués du top 4 on pourrait envisager de jouer la troisième place en si on augmente la profondeur de l’équipe dans le mercato on pourra gagner le championnat
That will be very difficult to win because we are in the Premier League.
People seem to forget Chelsea of last season, top of the league and bang in form by Christmas, then things started slipping away and that’s when confidence goes, it’ll be interesting to see wether Arsenal can get over those inevitable blips that every club has.
chelsea started to fall once lukaku fell out of form and injuries and then crumbled when abramovic left the club hopefully arsenal can keep our players in form whilst also injury free and the january transfer window would help
Depends what they do in January. They've actually got a easy run in this congested period coming up
Look at how good Liverpool was last year and people were talking about quadruple yet they finished below City. Sorry City is playing at a whole different level and will win the league by at least 9 points margin. Last year and this time Chelsea was on the top of the table 5 points ahead of City. Arsenal's squad doesn't have depth and the intensity of the games will bring them down to 2nd and most probably 3rd place in the table and after the world cup the league would be a whole different animal.
I agree, fair take. I would also gladly take 3rd as long as we remain competitive and it’s not a false position
I would take 8th if we won europa. But the league is city for 5 yrs
Arsenal aren't challenging city for first. After first it doesn't really matter 2 or 4 just bragging rights and money I suppose. Aim is getting the champions League, getting better depth next season with extra money and maybe in 2 3 years we can talk about title challenges.
I don't think they will win the title ahead of city but will be a great achievement from arsenal to finish second. Huge progression from previous years and then keep building
Agreed!
I think we still need a new Defensive Midfielder if we are to compete for the title, some injuries would just wreck us up
January will be VERY important for us. On our left wing we really don't have that many options. If Martinelli gets injured we're left Smith-Rowe, who already is injury prone.
I would love to see Arsenal make a huge statement and go and get Bellingham like others have said. People might not think we are big enough to get him. But we need a young long term player in that midfield and I think huge players like him might start looking at us now and want to be part of this.
Without crucial long term injuries, with a player or two coming in during the winter break, I expect the team is fully capable of 2nd-3rd and winning the Europa league. (Hoping not too many class teams drop from the CL)
It's still too early because we have to sustain this. Let's see where we are in January. 2 home wins against Top 6 opposition but if our 1st team get injured (and we get a lot of injuries) we'll struggle.
Joe Cole is such a gangster
Lol he's a wet wipe he know what happened
he's not, he's a Sky sports pundit 😛
Yeah 😂
I don't think we'll win the PL but to win the Europa League would be a massive achievement
Glad Arsenal took the very important 3 points from Liverpool.
Massive👍💪
If we can get to January second or third with couple class additions to the team then I will believe, but atm top four is the aim
Arsenal are the toughest opponents in the league so far..but defensively,,Gabriel meghalaes has to sharpen up n be in sync with Saliba..Tactically,,klop didn’t see it coming,,playing Tomiyasu at left back and pocketing Salah,,very mind blowing..The better team won.
3:01 HAHA HE SAID IT. HE SAID IT
Would love Europa and top 4 saying that we are contenders.
Let’s take it one game at a time - if we can make it till Christmas there and there abouts then we can add to the central midfield and buy someone who can come in for Partey when he picks up a knock because that role is pivotal to Arsenals success this season
i see an absolutely beautiful future for the gunners
As an Arsenal fan, I did not expect this. We lost 13 times or something last season.
We need Partey, Martinelli, Saka, Jesus, Saliba & Ramsey all fit the whole season. However the whole first team needs to be fit because Xhaka, Odegard, White, Gabriel, Tomi, Zinck, Tierney are also all very important.
Great games from both teams, THE PROCESS IS FULLY ACTIVE.......the penalty was a weak one but my question is did Thiago's challenge was it necessary????? I've watched the replay few times and to me that was a poor challenge so I don't understand why these guys blaming VAR and the REF......am happy with the 3 points😀😄
Liverpool fans always victims
@@jodaco3869 It was a soft penalty to be fair. Also, Arsenal got away with Gabriel's handball.
As an gooner Top 4 and Europa would be fantastic. It shouldve have 9 in 9 for us manu was unlucky for us. Realistically City are miles ahead of everyone. Spursy finishing outside of top 4 would be a cherry on top.
Love rio just straight up talking come on u gunners
We are going to do something this season!
Let's not forget how young this team is and where they are already. We've still not seen the best from Odegaard who still needs to improve in certain aspects of the game, Saka not having his best season (yet still killing it) - this team is nowhere near its full potential and they are league leaders. Imagine if the squad is strengthened and these players develop even more - scary thought for the rest of the league.
No chance, As a Chelsea fan we were in a similar position last season well into November and finished way short. Man City will wrap it up before end of year
With all due respect, chelsea scrapped results last season. Your club didnt impressed at all like arsenal this season.
@@alexl2070 we had a plus 30 goal difference in November 😁. Was doing really well before Chilwell, Kante, Kovacic and James got injured
Only thing might run out of steam but so far there rocking good young team must say
Well done the Arsenal board for ignoring the pundits and fans clamouring to sack Arteta just last season. It's also a lesson to other clubs - give the manager time!
consistency is the key just keep winning games thats the most important thing & stay injury free I'm not even thinking about the title.......YET COYG!!!!
Underestimate Arsenal at your own peril
I'm an arsenal fan
We deserve to win Premier league this season
Why do u rep Aston Villa's women team then?
It’s real happiness to see the change but we need to be realistic let’s wait and be consistent. I trust in my team
I’m a spurs fan, arsenal are looking very good and are playing good football. However, I think their weakness this season will be their squad depth so I don’t think their league challengers. They have players which are versatile but for example if Jesus gets injured, nketiah is not anywhere near the same striker. Next season tho, if they add more squad depth and their youth become more experienced, they will be a force to reckon with.
We have been here before where we get a great run of games then we decline. Let’s wait till January and see where we are.
Rio is always spot on
The force is strong in this group boys! Do not worry super mik arteta will see us good … second place is where we should be aiming
I didn't want MA when he arrived. I was looking for a bigger name like Ancelotti or Simeone. But when he came in I backed him and always trusted the process :D
If we can somehow manage to win all our remaining 5 games before the world cup kicks off it gives us a great chance. We could go into the January window and improve CDM, RW, ST to genuinely push ahead and keep City on their toes. And who knows an injury to Haaland or KDB and it could change the dynamic of that city team? Or perhaps city push to the CL final and get distracted in the PL? All "ifs" and buts" right now but all Arsenal need to do is remain focused and humble. If this talk of "title contenders" gets to the heads of certain players it could be fatal.
As an Arsenal fan the only way I see us challenging is if everyone stays fit and Haaland gets injured. Haaland has scored nearly 50% of their goals this season and Arsenal don’t have the depth for injuries to key players like Partey or Jesus
So far yes. But won’t go far. Liverpool only won one title in last few years, City are too much. That’s as an Arsenal fan. I’m just enjoying it so far, would love a top 2 finish optimistically.
If Arsenal could finish second (winning title is still some way to go for the young team) and win Europa (or two domestic cups). It would be the one of the greatest seasons in the club's history.
Can't believe people doubted Partey initially 😀😀😀
As an Arsenal fan I think it’s near impossible but to imagine anyone but City winning the league for the next 2/3 years. We should definitely be favourites for 2nd though and maybe we can push them all the way
Arsenal are on the up for sure!
Game by game, top 3 is the target.
Arsenals are the only big team that give enough time to their coaches to do what they really can do for the club. That's why Jose Morinho always wanted to get the job.
Nobody will beat City to the title, they’re just too strong. Arsenal have a great chance of making 2nd though.
COYG❤
This is the first time we had a good process since 2008
Top 4, wins europa league and couple of cups would make a great season 💪💪
As an Arsenal fan realistically would say Top 3 and winning the Europa league is a wonderful season for us 🥳
I won't say we can until I see that we are still top in February and have a good margin of points between us and City. But I can't see City having a slip up before we do
From premier league perspective, it is good to see Arsenal stepping up and giving Man city a run for the money until now. And PL needs Man Utd also to be back to its glory days asap for its competitiveness. As for as title chances are concerned for Arsenal, I still believe Arsenal may not make it at the end. But they would have a memorable season imho.
There is no reason why Arsenal cannot continue. George Graham's Arsenal did it with youngsters. Momentum is on their side.
Our aim is top 4/Europa league win.
SMH
I’m an Arsenal fan we’ve got no chance Man 😂 no quality replacements for our first 11. We need to spend big in Jan to stand a chance .
Noone ever said arteta out
It's only been 9 games ....... It's a marathon not a sprint
lets not forget arteta had 0 managerial experience and took the hardest job in football. he's been unreal in changing this club and how people couldnt see what he was doing on and off the pitch was beyond a joke. people need to put respect on his name for that
Most arsenal fans aren't talking about the title. A top 4 finish would be an amazing achievement
Just split the season in 2. Let's get to Xmas there or there abouts and then reset to go again. Second half will undoubtedly be harder but top 4 remains the goal
As a Arsenal fan. I'm going game by game. What happens after that happens.
I’d be happy with top 4 and strong run in Europa league ideally winning it
Arsenal are playing their best right now since Wenger left, but let's be honest...the only thing stopping City from winning the title and Haaland breaking almost every PL scoring record this year is injuries and the WC.
Remember that teams have been top of the league at this stage of the season and did not stay up there.
Joleon was concerned with hiding his balls than talking about the game
Can't be complacent. We are 2nd best team in the league at the moment. Anything can change until the season ends. City are still the best team and their team is filled with class, all the way onto their bench and reserves.
We won’t win league. But if we compete would be a huge step for us. Young team who will only get better
Our only enemy is injury and world cup coming..Arteta hope miracle happens and no injuries at all.if we not buying playing as rotation.we gonna end up 5 place like last season
If partey was available for the man utd game, we probably would have been unbeaten this season
