I've just watched this video with a smile on my face, and with a deep mix of emotion and awe, taking in not just the wide-angle landscape photography, but in fact the wide-angle view on life, nature, even the world that your lenses and words capture and combine for us in wonderful strokes of sound, shadows and light. Nothing I've seen so far in the world of landscape photography, in Canada, Britain or anywhere else, reminds me more of the British romantic painters than your work. The love for the land, the love for the art and craft of this type of photography, recalls for me the poetry of William Morris like "The Wood Beyond the World" and other wonderful poems. Keep walking, talking and shooting, Henry. You're lifting spirits up, just above the horizon, far beyond your locality. Thanks.

Henry you have given me a different and exciting view of our fabulous British landscapes. In my younger life i was quite an avid walker. I could often be found wandering around up and down hills and dales with my dogs, admiring the vistas set out before me.. Feeling a sense of freedom but a strong connection to the land too.. Now the story is different, no dogs or walking the fells but i was not content to just sit in a rocking chair, endlessly reminiscing. So bought a camera, thinking that my mind would be the better for it. i never thought to take landscapes photos - until lockdown struck. I went online and found great photos of places i once walked. Among the photographers, who inspire me, is a certain young man named Henry Turner.. Your enthusiasm appears to know no bounds, as you gaily endure wind and rain and whatever else the weather can throw at you, as you explore and capture the essence of the British countryside. When i am able (no personal transport) i intend changing genre and will attempt landscape photography but on lower levels of ground. i live in a very large uninteresting town in West Yorkshire and look forward to the end of incessant lockdowns and restrictions, when i can get out with camera and 3 legged friend and try to remember all the knowledge you have imparted to your ever-increasing number of followers. Thank you Henry. My life has new purpose.. it really is never too late to teach older folk new tricks..
i think the mono image of the dark gritstone supported boulder is fabulous, as is the shot of the group against the light.. Brilliant Henry..

Great stuff mate, I'm a geologist / amateur photographer, so it was pretty cool to see a mix of geological history and landscape photography in your vlog. I loved it, and your photos, well they're always brilliant. A while back I worked in Eastern Antarctica at a place called Marine Plain, an area of exposed 20 million year old seafloor, where glacial erratics the size of cars are scattered everywhere, and fossilised whale bones stick out of the ground. Doesn't matter where I am, I never see rocks as 'just a pile of rocks', I see them as a link to our past, and something that will, for the most part, be around long after we have gone. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your vlogs in the future taking in these awesome glacial erratics.
