Ryan Gosling, who played Ken, was 100% correct. Without Greta and Margot, Barbie never wouldâve been made. Letâs also hope that the sequel could maybe get a 2hrs run-time if they want to
I really wish & hope that they actually make a Barbie sequel soon (maybe an Allan spin-off. And a Ken spin-off). This time, maybe make a sequel a comedy, fantasy, romance, and musical this time.
Hope Greta Gerwig returns to write & direct and Margot Robbie to produce and return as Barbie (now goes by Barbara Handler after being turned into a human at the end of the film.
Also I hope all the actors returns too like Ryan Gosling (Beach Ken), America Ferrera (Gloria), Ariana Greenblatt (Sasha; based on Bratz), Michael Cera (Allan), Kate McKinnon (Weird Barbie), Issa Rae (President Barbie) Alexandra Shipp (Writer Barbie), Dua Lipa (Mermaid Barbie), John Cena (Mermaid Ken), Helen Mirren (Narrator), Will Ferrell (Mattel CEO), Simu Liu, Scott Evans, Kingsley Ben-Adir all return to reprise their roles.
Also, I think Mark Ronson should come back to compose and write more songs for the sequel, and some cast members sing. Maybe ask Jack Antonoff to compose and write songs. Maybe ask Sia and/or Taylor Swift to write and perform an original song. Maybe for Ryan Goslingâs Ken and maybe for Emma Stoneâs Midge when she fall in love with Goslingâs Ken.
Not just Stone, but also new cast should appear, like Emily Blunt, Anne Hathaway, Matt Damon, TimothĂ©e Chalamet, Florence Pugh, and especially Cillian Murphy as Human verison of Ken in the real world, whoâs Sashaâs teacher and Robbieâs Barbaraâs love interest.
Emma Stone should definitely play Midge, who falls in love with Ryan Goslingâs Ken, and I think Mark Ronson should write a song for them to perform a duet. They both previously sang 2 duets in La La Land (What A Waste of a Lovely Night) and (City of Stars).
Imagine if all of the actors do their own dancing and singing like a musical Broadway.
Ryan Gosling and his Ken cast killed at at the Oscars! Love the part when he gave the mic to Robbie, Gerwig, and Ferrera, especially Stone, thanking them all for being a part of his life!
Billie Eilish is a great, fantastic singer too, but her & her brother Finneasâ song âWhat Was I Made For?â was way too sad & depressing for me to hear. I mean, I know it fits well for Barbie showing that she wanted to be a human (even though we humans donât stay on earth đ forever), it didnât really have to play the 2nd time in the end credits. Way too depressing. Thatâs why I stopped watching Barbie (even though that film was still fantastic).
I really hope a sequel happens soon.
Also, if Barbie & Ken from Toy Story 3 appears in Toy Story 5, imagine if Robbie & Gosling both return to reprise their roles in a voiceover (replacing Jodi Benson and Michael Keaton from the 3rd TS film).
I say we cast Margot Robbie as Bond Girl/ James Bondâs (Henry Cavill) love interest, and probably last Lashana Lynch reprise her role as Nomi from No Time To Die.

Now we just need Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Florence Pugh, Timothee Chalamet, Anne Hathaway, and Gal Gadot to appear in a Barbie sequel, with Emma Stone as Barbieâs best friend Midge whoâs in love with Ryanâs Ken, and Cillian Murphy as Human Ken in the real-world, whoâs Sashaâs (Ariana Greenblatt) teacher, and the love interest of Margotâs human stereotypical Barbie (Barbara Handler) in a Barbie sequel whenever Greta and Margot are planning on doing it right after when Greta gets done filming Chronicle of Narnia on Netflix.
I DO hope that the original actors like America Ferrera, Ariana Greenblatt, Kate McKinnon, Will Ferrell, Kingsley Ben-Adir (who also played Raggae singer Bob Marley in Bob Marley: One Love) , Scott Evans, Alexandra Shipp, Michael Cera, Dua Lipa, and John Cena (Mermaid Ken) appear in the sequel too.
Also, I think they should bring back Mark Ronson to compose and write more songs for the sequel (probably make it a musical this time) and probably for a Ken movie and Allan spin-off. Maybe Jack Antonoff should compose if heâs interested maybe. Also probably have singer & singer-songwriter Sia to perform an original song next.
