- Today on AD, Margot Robbie takes us behind the scenes of ‘Barbie’ for an exclusive tour of the Barbie Dreamhouse. When tasked with bringing these iconic childhood toys to life on the big screen, Greta Gerwig enlisted the skills of production designer Sarah Greenwood and set decorator Katie Spencer. Taking inspiration from Palm Springs midcentury modernism they’ve created a whimsical fuchsia pink fantasy where slides replace stairs and there’s not a wall in sight-when touring this impressive set it’s hard not to feel a rush of playful nostalgia as Greta states “I wanted to capture what was so ridiculously fun about the Dreamhouses." Barbie hits theaters on July 21.

This set should literally be made into a museum. This is incredible.
I'd pay to go!!
I'd love to see an Air BnB (Bed n Barbie)
Yes yes and yes
I would absolutely pay to go to a Barbie theme park!!
Yes to all these ideas!!! Someone make it happen please 💖
This set should literally be made into a museum. This is incredible.. This movie better win the Oscar for production design. Absolutely unreal..
Do people still care about Oscars? Saying “give them an Oscar” has become a meme where at random you pick one person’s skill over another and praising them for it disproportionately by saying “give this person an Oscar.” Although I mentioning this to you because I don’t think you meant it how people say it now. Alpha, GenZ, and probably most millennials don’t respect how the Oscars are given by the self absorbed to the self absorbed while ignoring what people actually like and pushing on us what we don’t like.
And obviously this is an award-winning set even if they don’t win any awards. It’s cheesy to say, but the people that worked on this, Oscars or not, did an incredible job with the set.
@S. Rose100% agreed.
will be cool if that became series.
@S. Roseppl just say “give them an Oscar” to literally ANYTHING they like, whether it’s related to film or not. It’s become this ai generated response.
I’m glad there’s finally a director that respects how a little girl would think. She didn’t try to make the dream house sophisticated and really stayed true to the original eye catching designs that made girls like me love playing with Barbie’s
REALL
@Aqua Momyoure projecting
@Aster Lyons I'm not wrong.
@Aqua Mom yeah you are buddy.
@Aqua Mom lol you are such a snow flake. if thats how you interpreted this film. LOL
This is why we need more female directors and producers. This set is stunning and brings back so much nostalgia I cannot wait to see it in theaters!
🎯
Why can’t you just like something without having an agenda?
Your comment is the equivalent of someone seeing a Star Wars set, but instead of just appreciating the art, they can’t help but comment; “This is why we need more male directors and producers. This set is amazing and brings back such nostalgia I cannot wait to see it in theaters”.
Only men understand Star Wars
Only women understand Barbie
Is that your message?
Waow, you’re so progressive 👏 👏
@Hemske I love seeing sexist men get triggered over any comment about women being successful and being praised🤣 I knew there would be a salty one here in the replies. Also, I'm not reading all that nonsense
People just can't just let women get praised.😂😂😂😂😂
This movie better win the Oscar for production design. Absolutely unreal.. This set should literally be made into a museum. This is incredible..
I was thinking that. It'll be a huge waste if they just tear it down.
@Laurano actually they have them as a movie that can be watched for generations and generations (lol jk)
Okay. Which one of you copied each other's comments and just shuffled the sentences?
you just copied someone else's comment and shuffled it
I would go...
Margot Robbie is one of this generation’s best. Not just because she’s obviously gorgeous but she’s a really talented and thoughtful actress and you can tell she takes her roles seriously and puts everything into them. She’s awesome, perfect casting for this role
Big no!she don't have resemblance as barbie,🥵🤧
@jane de guzman Who has??
@Anis Razlan Margot is one of the producers of that movie, that's why she played barbie 🤣🤣🤣 honestly she doesn't have bashers because barbie just got a live action, there are many hollywood stars who are tall and long legged, she doesn't similar. just in hieghtfail at being a barbie.
@jane de guzman Oh yay another millennial with mean girl energy
She wasn‘t first choice. The original actor backed up.
Such a shame studios have abandoned the behind the scenes aspect of movies. Stuff like this really makes you appreciate movies and movie making more
They abandoned it because there’s usually nothing to see anymore… like Marvel movies for example, it’s just a screen now
Yes! I think it also makes people more interested in art, whether as an espectator or as the artist
That’s because for the most part studios have abandoned this type of set design in general and replaced it with digital.
@HammerSomewhat true, but at least Marvel still shows behind the scenes of their projects. Whether it's mostly CGI or a practical set, I love to see the effort that goes into making a movie.
This is one of my favourite parts!!! Seeing the hard word that goes into making a film!! It's what literally made me wanna be a filmmaker, too!! ^_^
They couldn't hire someone better to be Barbie, she's perfect and really coordinates with the role of Barbie
Margot is one of the producers of that movie, that's why she played barbie 🤣🤣🤣 honestly she doesn't have bashers because barbie just got a live action, there are many hollywood stars who are tall and long legged, she doesn't similar. just in hieghtfail at being a barbie.
elle fanning would be better
@Maira Suhail elle fanning is beautiful actress however she has nothing to do with barbie except she is blonde and skinny. Even though barbie has so many different versions this movie is clearly inspired by the original barbie who is an unbelievably successful business woman, she has many jobs so definitely older. And since it is a doll movie (the whole point of the video is everything look like toy) it is normal they choose someone who has more sharp facial features to keep the plastic doll vibe not round and soft face like elle and when i saw the trailer i immediately think about 'barbie life in the dream house' series and that version is more smilar to margot too and lets be honest if it wasnt for ryan and margot it wouldnt get the half of the attention it gets now
@gay8890omg .. I don’t have any hate towards her but Margot looks more like Barbie lol
They could’ve hired someone better for ken imo
I am almost embarrassed to admit that this made me tear me up a little bit 🥲I was OBSESSED with Barbie's as a little girl and had multiple sets of furniture for every conceivable room in a house (and multiple dream houses). I never really "played" but I built my own houses and furniture, hand sewed my own Barbie clothes, and created a Barbie universe. I grew up to be a Furniture Designer and dress maker....who would have thunk it 😉
Omg me too I cried so much after seeing the trailer lol
Congratulations, you listened to your inner child! ❤
you'll definitely cry when you watch the movie then!!!
I cried several times watching the film! The nostalgia, the mother-daughter dynamic, the message. It was more than I excepted.
My Barbie experience as a girl sounds very similar to yours. But I remembered playing with my friends Barbie accessories and outfits shown in the film.
I don’t make my own clothes but a fair portion of my wardrobe is design by me and made by a professional.
I’m glad Barbie fulled a passion in you which shaped your professional life.
I had various barbies when i was little, but never had the house, used to make outfits for my barbies that were not in the stereotypical pink. My favourite barbie was gymnastics barbie
Greta Gerwig is a genius! And Margot Robbie looks like a real Barbie doll!💖
🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗
Just like disneyland, there should also be a Barbie land for people to visit.
She is the perfect cast for Barbie, when it was announced she will be playing Barbie I shouted for a min and was like “well she fits the role perfectly”
Fun fact Amy Schumer was once rumored to play Barbie and she was supposed to write the script also just saying.
@Larry Marshall ermmm yeah But Margo still is the catch 😂
How can you say that she is perfect play for barbie?the barbie is tall and long legged...how about margot?
@jane de guzman So who would be a better cast then?
@Anis Razlan thank u
It's so refreshing to see ACTUAL SETS, and not everything done with CGI. Kudos to Greta Gerwig and the designers and artists.
Yes!!
Sets bring so much life to movies. Just look at Lord of the Rings which had extensive sets versus the Hobbit which was almost all CGI. Such a big difference in quality.
@Snubble Bubblethe same thing happened with Star Wars. The magic of the originals cannot be replicated because of the sets.
When I clicked on the video I thought I was going to be welcomed by a lot of green screens but I was rather delighted instead ^_^
@Chorizo Its an Architecture channel, why would you assume that.
Literally have tears of nostalgia, rolling down my face. Barbie was everyone's first friend, and Margot literally has captured her perfectly. Greta did such an amazing job. I AM IN LOVE.

Very well said!
As a child who always dreamed about Barbie house and never got one, this is just stunning. I wanna go live there.
🌒🌒🌒🌒🌒🌒🌒🌒🌒🌒🌒🌒🌒🌒🌒🌒🌒🌒🌒🌒🌒🌒🌒🌒🌒🌒🌒🌒🌒🌒🌒🌒
Can we please do something to preserve this set!? It truly is so gorgeous and it’s a masterpiece. It would be shame for the talent, blood, sweat and tears to go to waste.
I agree! And apparently there was a paint shortage when the movie was being made, due to how much Pink this movie used during its production. At the time, I thought thats insane, how much pink could they possibly need?!
I had no idea they were building full scale barbie houses.
🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚
@BattleBladeWarrior hahaha yeah I heard about it too and automatically about the movie bc I knew it was happening!
You're not alone
@Anna MarieI'm hoping that Warner Bros can give Barbie it's own studio tour the same way they gave Harry Potter it's own studio tour
absolutely amazing how the production and design made everything so perfect even the minute details like the fake representation in the refregerator, fake pool, transparent boxes as wardrobes, big hair brush and especially the "you never bring your Barbie down the stairs, she floats down to the car by the grip of a little girl's hand" just shows how much efforts they've put into this movie. As a barbie fan growing up, seeing this piece of perfectioned masterpiece just brings so much joy into the child in me! Kudos to Greta and the whole team🙌
🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌
Woah! That's a huge set. Kudos to all designers and architects who created all these into reality. You guys put a very happy heart to all Barbie's fans. 👏❤
The fact that Greta was like “yeah no one walks their Barbie down the stairs, so you have to float down” IS THE MOST ACCURATE THING!!!! I’m going to scream when I see this movie in person
BUT THERE IS NO STAIRS IN MOST HOUSES, THATS WHY...
@hydrodaktyl YEAH most of the time the stairs is too tiny for Barbie so yeah
6:13
THAT'S GONNA BE ME
She could just use the slide 😎
The studio did an outstanding job creating this set down to the details. I want to go play on the set and get a feel of feeling like a Barbie doll!!! 🤩😍
🌓🌓🌓🌓🌓🌓🌓🌓🌓🌓🌓🌓🌓🌓🌓🌓🌓🌓🌓🌓🌓🌓🌓🌓🌓🌓🌓🌓🌓🌓🌓
I love how Margo always references her Barbie character in third-person. She and the entire team really made this movie an epic project. They cared so much about the details!
In the beginning of the video it says, “Margot Robbie/producer/Barbie”. I didn’t realize Robbie was also a producer on the movie! This actress is truly an icon! The roles she plays are all so versatile and she nails every single 1!
She’s definitely a girl crush! Not just because she’s stunning but also because she is amazingly talented!
👁️👁️👁️👁️👁️👁️👁️👁️👁️👁️👁️👁️👁️👁️👁️👁️👁️👁️👁️👁️👁️👁️👁️👁️👁️👁️👁️👁️👁️👁️👁️👁️
Ahh~ I miss those times where sets are physically created. There's so much nostalgia with this movie. The amount of arts and crafts utilized here is incredible. I'm glad I'm still seeing these kind of things nowadays and not just bunch of green screens.
The attention to detail and the way kids play with Barbie is pretty amazing. The whole look of the film is beautifully done. There's so much to look at!
Agreed
I just love that they built an actual set and didn't just rely on CGI. The interaction between the actors and the world is so much more natural this way - and the skills applied here are really cool, the way they explained lighting the painted sky was so interesting.
it must make such a difference for the crew and cast too! so easy to get into the barbie mindset :)
Painted backgrounds too, rather than completely CGI. So much detail and effort in these sets.
I heard they actually started a worldwide shortage of pink paint making all the sets.
The set design is amazing, just know the movie still has vast amounts of VFX/CGI. This movie has a few techniques that haven't been used before, hope everyone enjoys the film.
All the Barbies can wake up and see eachother and wave 👋 Omg how adorable and cozy! I know. I'm weird. Lol!
As a girl who grow up loving barbies and loved pink this is so amazing. I genuinely want to go there and experience sleeping and waking up there🌝 They deserve an oscar for this!
Everything is incredible, every single Barbie detail brings back the nostalgia of how I wished I had a life like Barbie did. Margot is great!
🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙
Muito lindo os bastidores ❤️
Not a Barbie-fan and i dont think i’ll get the boys on this but i hope it does well. This kind of crafting and attention to detail is exactly what the movies are missing these days.
I can’t believe they actually built it! They easily could’ve gone with CGI. But they made an actual set. That’s dedication.
The budget was reportedly $100 Million Dollars and it’s showing 😍
I wonder what they do with the sets after the movies are over
@𝓡𝓮𝓪𝓭 𝓫𝔂 𝓦𝓲𝓼𝓽𝓮𝓻𝓲𝓪in this case, hopefully a museun
it was actually margot’s idea to make the house, she said it was one of her only requests
And it’s so gorgeous!!!
The scenography and cinematography really surprised me , it really looks like the world of Barbie
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
This movie was absolutely incredible. The story was so clever and the set was very detailed
The concept designers, the object designers, the furniture designers, the clothing designers and so on.... they are all exceptional artists!!!
It is incredible what they have created together. The end result shows how much love everyone has put in every little detail!! And that's what makes it a masterpiece!
This movie deserves quite a few Oscars for design, costumes, cinematography...
🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
I love how it looks like a real barbie toy house ❤
This entire set should be a museum. I cannot get over how gorgeous and well thought out the set is! The movie isn't out yet and I'm already so excited! 💗
Oh definitely it looks amazing and playful 😁😁
completely agreed!!! my childhood fantasy
Don't let kim get a hold of it
Periodt
@Sadia Ali living in Barbie’s real Dreamhouse 😁
The set, costumes, cast and all these is incredible, this will be my favorite movie forever 💖
🗯️🗯️🗯️🗯️🗯️🗯️🗯️🗯️🗯️🗯️🗯️🗯️🗯️🗯️🗯️🗯️🗯️🗯️🗯️🗯️🗯️🗯️🗯️🗯️🗯️🗯️🗯️🗯️🗯️🗯️🗯️🗯️
This is SO amazing how they created the set!
So well done and the thought process was impeccable. Bravo! 👏🏼
💭💭💭💭💭💭💭💭💭💭💭💭💭💭💭💭💭💭💭💭💭💭💭💭💭💭💭💭💭💭💭
She’s literally living my childhood dream I used to dream of being barbie and live in her fancy house
👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀
The attention to detail is awesome. It’s part of what makes the movie great
I got tears in my eyes over the “this is the way kids play, so this is how we do it” mechanics. I am so freaking excited about this movie. If they rebuilt this set as a theme park attraction I would stack my pennies to get to go.
Omggg yesssss!!! A BarbieLand theme park would be amazingggg!!! 🥺🥺🥺🥺
omggg yesss
@Johana Lopez I'm surprised it hasn't been done yet!
That needs to be invented soon🥹
u really just want to fly out of here twinkle toes
I really love the details in all of this. It's very intentional and beautiful and I can't wait to watch the movie once it comes out. Also the promo run they've had is amazing and I hope the movie does really well in the box office.
💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
I didn't I'd be into this but watching some of it made me excited and took me back to being a kid again. The memories of playing and dressing up barbie came back and how fun it was.
Everything is *stunning* , everyone who worked on these sets deserves endless praise and all the recognition, it looks breathtaking!!
1:28 this makes me really happy, the set looks beautiful and it's great that the actors didn't have to wait for CGI or whatever in the final product to see everything
I feel like this movie is the very definition of a passion project. You can tell how much Greta and the cast and crew want it to be authentic and grounded in everything Barbie is. They care about what they're doing and it shows. I'm so excited to see it!
Agreed. It is such a smart movie! I can not wait!
Also the definition of giant budget
The criticism I wanna make is, kids used real water with their barbies. At least I did.
Absolutely 💯
This film is so meta
Absolutely iconic! 💖 My Barbie heart can’t process how beautiful everything is. They truly captured everything beautifully 😭
👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋
Margot literally matches well with this perfectly. These guys did such an amazing job with this set and Greta Gerwig is just a whole genius star! This just makes me feel like one, real Barbie doll! 😍✨
This could be one of the greatest unique venue on earth ~ wish the set is still there. Love Barbie!
So many details! And so many talented women ❤ Go Barbie!
Barbieland needs to be turned into a museum or a theme park. So much love and effort has been put into this by the crew, and this set is a testament to the artistry of set design that is so overlooked in today's CGI filled world. As Greta Gerwig said, this set is designed specifically to appease how children see Barbie. I think it's a complete waste if actual children (and/or people who used to be children) never get to see it. I'd pay for an entire cross world trip to the US specifically to go see Barbieland.
Yeah, forget disneyworld, i wanna visit barbieland
Great idea! Also, I don't know what it's made of, but it also feels like a literal waste if they just throw it all away once the movie's done 😅
They have achieved what Disney has consistently failed to do with their live action movies.
I just watched wolf of wallstreet and just said she looks like a Barbie ❤
There is actually something like this in Canada. A life-size Barbie world.
You can look it up, I don’t know much details 😂
The attention to history and detail is so incredible!
“All the Barbies wake up and wave at each other.”
We need this movie in our lives especially with how the world is now.
That was AMAZING!!!!! Wow. Round of applause to Greta for making magic!!
it's always nice to see real set design, rather than CGI
I loved the movie so much!! Especially the visuals. They were really true to the toys ❤️
I really appreciate how fake just everything looks. Like with, Skipper’s treehouse literally looks like it was made out of plastic. there is so much fairness in everything, it’s hilarious and awesome
Idk why but I feel like with all the artificial there, it won't set a new standard to the people and we would just focus on remembering how we used to play with the Barbie
Its so funny because thats the point yet you have people saying its looks so cheap about some of the wigs of the barbies.
Yesss
@Nandarestunf i think that's a beautiful thing tho
@Nandarestunf I kinda think that's the point, after listening to Great describe that feeling of seeing all the Barbies in the store & how you wanted to just touch everything. I think it's meant to bring that nostalgia feel to it.
I freakin, FREAKIN LOVE that so much of it is hand made. It isn't even a digital background, someone actually painted it! It's AMAZING!!!
This is an amazing set, I can't wait to watch Barbie!
Margot really knows which are Barbie favourite ambients as if she guess what Barbie wants in real life. Extraordinary really, you make a great dream come true for us Barbie fans ❤❤
Isso é impecável, extraordinário. Mal posso esperar para assistir ao filme
🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐
OMG this is just amazing! I would love to hear more details the story of set designers, how did they even started, with what? How they came up to that final concept and then result? I mean there are sooo many details they needed to pay attention at that that is just insane!
The fact they included Skipper and Midge in the movie speaks volumes that they care about not only the history of Barbie but her friends/sister too
Because they're interested in the WHOLE history of Barbie, they are Barbie!
But what about her other sisters?! Stacy and Chelsea?
@Tom Canty it’s Midge.
@★_ Shenanigans _★ depending on the timeline I don’t think they may be “born” yet. I believe Chelsea and Stacy were released in the mid to late 90s. I remember in the 90s books skipper was a young adult who had to babysit toddler Stacie I believe that’s when she was released. I could be wrong but it depends on the movie timeline. Whether it was before their release or after but didn’t have a storyline for them.
@★_ Shenanigans _★ yeah but the timeline could be the reason bc originally Chelsea replaced Kelly( in 2011 I think) 😊
so many details in this i LOVE! the fact that she floats down since nobody ever used the stairs, the water not running and the 2D decals in the fridge! also loving the way she drinks without anything actually coming out - it really brought me back a lot. i can't wait to see the movie this week!
I hope they keep this set so Barbie lovers can visit it 😍
I love how they make Barbie float because usually kids will just place there barbie wherever they want to and not use the stairs but when I played with barbie, I would actually make barbie walk down the stairs foot by foot to try and make it seem more realistic so my barbie would not be floating to the floor😅
Simply amazing 🤩 Margot Robbie rocks!!💅💅
This brings back so many beautiful memories of playing with Barbie dolls!! Can't wait to see the movie!
I hope they keep this set or a replica of it for the public to tour. So much history and detail
Every little girl who walked into a replica of this would absolutely lose their minds lol! 🤣
@Duffelbag DragCount those of us who aren't little girls anymore but would still lose our minds over this magical set🤭💖 it absolutely feels like you're being transported into the Barbie commercials and living in an actual playhouse!
@Duffelbag Dragboys too, my brother loves barbie he can’t wait to see it
Yesss i hope
I agree, people would pay to walk this set.
As someone who was obsessed with Barbies and accessories as a child....to see it life size is amazing. I would love to have a place to go see it in person.
It’s beautiful guys! Thank you for the effort and attention to detail.
Always been obsessed about the concept of Barbie. But thisss!!! This is so magical 🥹🥹🫶🏾❤️
It looks like a literal life sized barbie dreamhouse i LOVE it cant wait for it to come out on the 21st
This is one big thing that makes or breaks great movies, the set and production design, thanks for sharing a look inside this movie's nostalgia & magic! It is truly impeccable! So excited to see this movie next week at the Barbie Blowout Party Early Access Screening! 💝💖💝
Please make this into a thing, like touring through movie sets
I AGREE GIVE THE PEOPLE CREDIT AND THEIR SHINE
I'm studying architecture and I'm in the first and and we learn how important architecture is in movies. So it would really be on brand to the page to do that! It would be so cool
It was a thing. Now it's a rarity sadly
it would be cool, but im afraid of *those* people that would ruin these beautiful architecture for "fun" :(
If this was the 90s, maybe, these days everything is done against a green screen.
Ahh I'm so excited!!! I love how it really does look like a dreamhouse, its so fun to look at and it makes me so happy!!!
this needs to be a museum❤
movie brought me to tears, Margot Robbie is perfect for this role!
I loved the movie and the set is incredible ❤
This set looks ethereal because it’s completely handmade and painted, yes we’re technologically advanced but the authenticity and intricacy that comes with hand paint is unmatched. So many amazing artists being a part of this. This should be a case study for set/production design, fine art universities . Hats off to the entire team!!
Beep bop... I'm the Philosophy Bot. Here, have a quote:
"Power is given only to those who dare to lower themselves and pick it up. Only one thing matters, one thing; to be able to dare!"
~ Dostoevsky
They did amazing with the set…loved the movie
This Architectural Digest youtube feature of Margot Robbie Takes You Inside The Barbie Dreamhouse is actually exciting to watch. I enjoyed watching the Barbie film and I also enjoyed how this video weaves the inclusion of the viewpoints of Margot Robbie Ryan Gosling Emma Mackey Sarah Greenwood Katie Spencer Greta Gerwig etc. into their perspectives pertaining to the Barbie movie set Dreamhouse.
She was born for this role. She looks like what a barbie is if u picture a barbie in real life.
I never thought I'd miss the 90's so much. Movies the the Fugitive that actually had a plot. Or even female led movies like Silence of the Lambs. No CGI, no shoving politics down your throat just a great script, great acting
The love that Greta has for this makes me so hyped for seeing the movie.
The little details like Barbie just floating down to the car and Skipper's treehouse being a heritage site have me convinced that the amount of love and care put into making this movie is incredible.
Her hands when she walks down the slide nice detail
Also that the comb and the toothbrush are bigger than Barbie!! Crazy detail
In real life that treehouse is actually Chelsea’s
Whats with Skipper’s house being a heritage site?? I feel like I’m missing something!!!
The director and all of the supports are all amazing and also what caught my eyes is the painter❤
I loved how they set everything in detail as we used to play we barbie it's fun to watch. As an kid it was my dream house never thought someone gonna build it for a movie😅
Money was well spent to make this movie. Great job to Greta Gerwig and the team! 👍
I am so excited to see this movie!! The set design is incredible, I love all the little details!!
We want this to be a museum!
This film has a Oscar sniff to it for the most amount of Pink used in a film
i loved your videos so much as a kid :)
😄😄😄😄😄😄
Only when the Oscar is pink, too
Apparently there is a world wide shortage on the color pink, due to the set. 😄 At least so i’ve read.
Love how Pink is given a cap ;)
I love the lamps in Barbie’s bedroom so much ❤
This should be a museum ❤
I am 62, but this Barbie set takes me back to the 60s. I would feel like a kid again on this set!
I hope that they saved this set and bring it to themepark!!! I would love to visit Barbieland❤
I am a retired teacher who has used Barbie as a role model for girls throughout my career. She can be anything she wants. There’s no stopping Barbie.
Regardless how the actual movie is, you can't deny this is some incredible set design that could be award winning.
It would've been nice if the whole movie took place in Barbie's world, it's just so pretty
I hope it's funny at least.
I honestly think that the movie IS going to be fantastic. The attention to detail to the set and the way everyone speaks about the Barbie experience, it feels like everyone's heart is truly in it.
@Fosmin ClorinI think they have to do something with the real world for the plot and story
Wizard of oz level
So cute! Seems like everyone actually enjoyed it! I would too! 💖✨
Потрясающе. Хотелось бы там побывать))
