In 1972 I saw his Vegas concert right from the center table and only two people sat closer to the stage. He was absolutely incredible, he electrified the place. His voice was pure gold and he was even more gorgeous in person than he was in the movies. I saw him in concert 6 times in the 1970's, he was breathtaking every time. When I was growing up, Elvis singing on the radio gave me hope I could survive my childhood.

When most artists no matter how brilliant stayed the same. The Beatles broke up, ii ndividually on their own they were good, but there was a certain blandness and dullness about them. You can't see charisma just writing songs of The Beatles never really had the excitement Elvis did, oh, the girls screamed, but it they were not at all charismatic, they were brilliant. If you they had gone on a world tour before they broke up, would have been historic and incredible. But just when Beatles quit, Elvis came back, and really beat them to the to punch. Even when he was ill, he was still a powerhouse, though some critised him, too dumb to see his brilliance through even his health. Elvis had an unfortunate ending to his story, but what an incredible achievement in entertainment industry, not many can say that. And he was around for 23 years.

We sat approx. 20 feet from Elvis for he wanted his fans up close & we also had a great meal - (4) tickets & dinner - $79. Someone cancelled out & we got the tickets.

A true Hollywood story, from poverty, rockabilly, Ed Sullivan, romantic movie and recording star, then on tour concerts. Elvis went through these incredible stages in 23 years. When most artists no matter how brilliant stayed the same. The Beatles broke up, ii ndividually on their own they were good, but there was a certain blandness and dullness about them. You can't see charisma just writing songs of The Beatles never really had the excitement Elvis did, oh, the girls screamed, but it they were not at all charismatic, they were brilliant. If you they had gone on a world tour before they broke up, would have been historic and incredible. But just when Beatles quit, Elvis came back, and really beat them to the to punch. Even when he was ill, he was still a powerhouse, though some critised him, too dumb to see his brilliance through even his health. Elvis had an unfortunate ending to his story, but what an incredible achievement in entertainment industry, not many can say that. And he was around for 23 years.
