Lyrics:
I said see, see, see rider
Oh, see what you have done
I said see, see, see rider
Oh, see what you have done
Oh girl, you made me love you
Now, now, now your lovin` man has gone
hear what I say
Well, I`m going away, baby
And I won`t be back to fall
Well, I`m going away baby
And I won`t be back to fall
And if I find me a good girl
I won`t, I won`t be back at all
Hear what I say, I said
See see rider,
Oh see what you have done
Yeah, yeah, yeah

This satellite production has never been equaled. This was over the top.
I agree. It was his peak. After that downhill began.
@@Denilson.Carreiro yes the Kings zenith and sadly for short years is only took after that

After this spectacular show Elvis could have gone anywhere on the planet but instead Tom Parker takes Elvis back to Vegas too perform on the same old stage and singing the same songs over and over. Elvis needed a new challenge and world tour would have given that challenge but Parker as usual held him back...
This thunderous drum opening shows why Ronnie Tutt was the best. What a drummer, what an entrance. Rest in peace Ronnie Tutt.
Hear hear . That man was explosive . C C Rider really was a showcase for him . RIP
Elvis surrounded himself with only the best musicians, he was a perfectionist when it came to his music.

This production was ahead of its time. Before Elvis did this, no entertainer had done a concert broadcast round the world via satellite. Elvis was so ahead of his time. Nearly 50 years on, this show is still regarded as one of the best in music history. Nothing like it before and nothing like it since. Elvis definitely needed more challenges post 1973. He was nearly 40 here and was still on top. That bastard Colonel worked him way too hard, particularly over the next four or so years. RIP, Elvis. You will never be forgotten and your legacy will live on forever. Your music is immortal. The Undisputed King of Rock and Roll always.
@@p.j.morris633 nice one, P.J. Elvis was lucky to have you in his life. Thanks for having his back and for setting the record straight. You're absolutely right on all counts. Very well said. Elvis also didn't make friends easily as he was bullied at school. As for Parker, you're completely correct. All he wanted was money and his 50% share. As long as Elvis was bringing in the money and Parker got his 50% share, the latter was happy. Elvis was very unwell in his last show and should have been in hospital and drug rehab. How could the Colonel not see that? He couldn't care a less. Parker's unrealistic demands and Nick's over-prescription of drugs to Elvis cost the latter his life at the too young age of 42. Thank you again, P.J. Morris for your words. Elvis will always live on.
@@p.j.morris633 you sound like a genuinely kind person and so was Elvis. You two were lucky to have each other. He was such a great man, I would have loved to have known him. You got true friendship from Elvis and he got it from you. That's priceless. Don't you worry, Elvis will live on in everyone's heart as he was such a loveable soul. Thank you for your story. Elvis might have lived just 42 years, but he will live on metaphorically longer than all the nasties in his life and death. Thank you, P.J. for your kindness to Elvis and again for sharing your story.
@@p.j.morris633 so epic you knew Elvis. He was such a great man. Absolutely he was never the same after the death of his Mum. Elvis was a very sensitive man. Thank you for having his back. Elvis will always live on. Love to you from Surrey, England.
@@p.j.morris633 he will live on in our hearts forever. Sorry to hear you have an illness. Praying for you. That's nice you have two mementos from Elvis. You got kindred love from him and he got it from you. Priceless. My best to you, P.J. Morris.
@@p.j.morris633, it's not stupid that you go to Graceland each day. I would too if I lived in America. Would love to visit it one day. Elvis will always live on in many people's hearts. I saw the biopic not long ago and it made me emotional at times, especially when he said about being 40 soon and he felt that no-one would remember him and he also felt that he hadn't done anything lasting. Of course he had and here we are, coming up on 45 years since his passing and he is still remembered and adored by so many around the world. He was such a great man in a multitude of ways, one of life's genuine souls and did so much good. According to his friend, Charlie Hodge, Elvis supported 50 charities in Memphis alone and did so much good for others, but he didn't blow his trumpet about it. Such a genuine soul he was. Reminds me of George Michael. Despite being English, George was very similar to Elvis in terms of his personality, such as the kindness, sensitivity, touching music and both lost their Mums very young in their lives and in other ways as well. George too was an Elvis Presley fan and you can hear the Elvis influence in George's music. Thanks again, P.J. for your comments and for humanising Elvis. My best to you.

You know you’re the king when you have this as your intro music
That intro demands the respect ELVIS PRESLEY deserves!

ELVIS WAS THE BEST !
Saw him in concert two times shortly after Aloha. Looked and sounded better in person. Literally filled the arena with presence. All of the movie experiences taught him how to stand at best angles for the cameras. Incredible showman and crazy talent
Great observation!!
What was his talent?
@@benredding7080 Most talented guy to ever walk on a stage.
Wow! Lucky
I have never thought of that but yes when you look at it he makes it look easy! Since you gave a good point here is one for everyone. The weight of these costumes along with cape could be upwards of 25 pounds so imagine what kind of shape you need to be in.
The way to make an entrance. Nobody in history had this man's charisma.
He actually suffered from terrible stage fight but came on stage and done the music world good
Noone will replace him

@@brendansbennett8693 This is what he said about stage fright he never got over the stage fright he went though it every show he was pretty concerned thinking about the show. he never got completely comfortable with it, and he didn't let the people around him get comfortable with it, in that he reminded them that it’s a new crowd out there, it’s a new audience, and they haven’t seen them before So it had to be like the first time they went on stage.
@@p.j.morris633 you’ve watched Elvis on tour pj👍👍👍👍👍
I'm 60 years old and I know all musical styles. I've been listening to Elvis since I was 10 years old. I come from Switzerland (Lucerne). I appreciate any kind of good music. I also know all the songs by Johnny and June Cash-Carter (Great). However, Elvis remains the greatest musician and entertainer of all time. He implied all the power of his soul in all his songs. One could almost say: he gave away his whole heart to his listeners. So, in that way, this is definitely unique. Denis Herger
Love Johnny Cash as well. But totally agree with you
You feel a deep intrinsical spiritual connection to Elvis Presley even if you've never seen him or met him. It's a phenomenon I've never felt with any other artist. Even though the King invented the modern rock star/celebrity archetype; he is real, relatable, and down to earth. He was an incredible, beautiful soul and gave so much of himself to the world and his fans. There will never be anyone like him again.
The greatest entertainer that the world will ever see

Of course we all do.

Miss him horribly… He came from an age where singers were performers first, and recording artists second, rather than the other way around, like today. He was happiest when performing for an audience, and it shows here.

The greatest stage introduction for the consummate Professional You have to love the horn's blasting as Elvis is performing.
This is History!
Appreciate it everyone.
Love introduction theme, adds to his mystique and legend. I don't think any other artists has that, don't know, but sure works for the king, brilliant idea.
The horns blasting is the signature part to this whole opening.
Man, only Elvis, the dude is a genius.
Who ever thought intro theme up was a genius, and appropriate for Hawaii concert, since it was via satellite around the world

1 on billboard, as added interest, more people watched them mooml landing I'm 69
Also beat out superbowl in ratings. What an astonishing feat, says alot about how well loved this man was, especially in Britain, Germany, etc poor German Elvis was like a breath of fresh air after the war tragedies by that asshole Hitler, I think the people healed a bit more, when Elvis was there and g,I blues movie. They just loved Wooden heart sung by Elvis. No. 1 on German charts. Finally, that theme song somehow made Elvis more magical.
@@maryannemelenka9250 you are not German.
I'm sorry meant no disrespect or offence, no I'm not German, am Ukrainian Canadian. But I am also human who has sympathy for all countries who've had tragedies, you don't have to be a certain nationality to care, my grandparents went through mass killings in Ukraine, grand parents left when Stalin came in. I've read up history of Germany and the wars, tons and tons of f world history, s I am not stupid, or condescending etc, no I did not go through what your country went through, I don't know. I am almost sorry I didn't go through that he'll. But I didnt , can't help that. Once again, meant no offence.
Not the king of rock, nor pop.... just THE KING. Long live Elvis!

Wow Elvis, you know you had the sexiest smile ever.

there was nothing like being in the building when he walked out onto that stage. nobody ever has, is, or will ever come close to that energy.
I was 12 when I saw him in Minnesota. I cried and back then sooo many camera old school lights for the 1st 15 minutes. Rest in ✌
close second for me was McCartney, I was excited to see him but he caught my breath when he walked out on stage, a living Beatle. Not the same as Elvis but powerful
I agree about paul i’ve seen him in concert and he is just about the greatest live concert there is i was too young to ever see elvis
THAT is style plus 100% talent and charisma✅ The whole package :-)
Ronnie Tutt the master of the double bass drum ghost notes with a flair for the jazz note cymbals, inside the ride . Pure power and energy !! Guitar and bass so tight.
Great snare work starting off the drum break at the end. He was very physical but never out of control. He clearly understood dynamics and his feel and swing were exceptional.
