    Its so dumb seeing people come comment on a video just to hate on someone. You dont have to support him if you dont want to, but taking time out of your day to try and tear someone down? Does that make you feel better about yourself? You didnt make the track team or something?

      @alphaomega1459 Před 3 lety +1

      It honestly doesn't take much effort or time to write down hateful comments, and it has nothing to do with "not making the track team". I know that's just an example but people can comment whatever they want to.

      @DEUTERONOMY EXODUS Because neither drugs were of his intent. Also he had a medical condition from 9 years old and the IAAF gave Gatlin the pass. The second “drug” was that his massager or his coach rubbed him with testosterone cream because he pulled a cramp. Kindly research the context instead of blatantly listening to the media.

    If asaffa Powell was there he would have won that race also he would have won in 2003 World Championship if George drummers never lay on the track. That was the two time where he was better than the field. The other Olympics and World Championships he lost to a field that was with better pb than him except the time when he came 4 and behind the 🇹🇹 guy but asaffa was injured in the race so he was bound to loose.

    • @mriyefa2196
      @mriyefa2196 Před 4 lety +10

      Powell one of the most gifted sprinters but I doubt he would have won, he's never been good at performing at his best during championships & olympics.

    • @Hengel_Andrews
      @Hengel_Andrews Před 4 lety +2

      Mr Iyefa there’s a reason why Asafa made more money than any sprinter from 2004-07 because he ran more and won everything outside of the championships. His seasons weren’t planned around championships it was planned around the circuit so by the time championships came around he’d always be injured. Money was more important to him than championships

    • @mriyefa2196
      @mriyefa2196 Před 4 lety +2

      @@Hengel_Andrews I knew nothing about that. I would have thought that an athlete of his calibre was aiming to be world/Olympic champion. From 2004 to 2007 - that could have happened.

    • @alphaomega1459
      @alphaomega1459 Před 3 lety +2

      @@Hengel_Andrews Where did you get this information from? And whatever you said doesn't make sense. Why would an athlete of his caliber plan his season around the circuit and not the championships. In fact, almost all world-class athletes plan their season around the championships, never the circuit. From 2003 to 2015, the only times Powell wasn't fit to take part at a global championships was in 2005 and 2011. Most of the time he was at the world championships/olympics, so him being "always injured" at the time of championships doesn't stand. And the part about money being more important than the championships, that I wouldn't know cause I'm not him but obviously the championships are a very important aspect of a sprinters career and he obviously had the talent to win some of them. The reason why he's never won an individual title is simply because his nerves always gets him.
