    Survivors of the Dawn is a run-based roguelike bullet heaven where you create strategic weapon and item synergies to survive the ceaseless hordes. Remember, every step back is a step towards a whole new strategy.
    The dawn bubbles with all the mobs but nothing beats outwitting them after a drenching run.
    BATTLE OUT OF DAWN
    Slaughter your way through marauder mobs. Prepare for an interstellar showdown as the space bounty hunter, where marauder hordes stand between you and the elusive bounties.
    SYNERGY HATCH
    Level up your bullets, stack your items, and survive at dawn the stronger the sooner. Create laser-sharp bullet synergies, level them up, then max out the weapon classes for unexpected bonus skills.
    RUN-BASED ESCALATION
    Navigate the extreme, pedal-to-the-metal progression surviving through the total chaos. Start as a bounty hunter with a gun and end at a laser spectacle. You will die a lot. And die more again.
    GUNSTORM CATCH
    Surround the marauders with your bullet rain as they circle around you. Oh wait... don't leave before you get your bounties.
    STELLAR SPRINT AGAINST TIME
    Travel through interstellar yet still be done in time for dinner. Face the boundless replayability of a roguelike and the adrenaline pumping threat of permadeath.

    Definitely a bit rough around the edges, with some things not being clearly worded, screens that don't display numbers properly, etc. And the always aggravating mystery bonuses that don't actually give you any numbers so it's a total shot in the dark whether they're worth taking.
    I did notice that the level-up upgrades - weapons systems and the like - had a max at level 10, so i think the infinite stacking comes from the stuff at shops, boss drops, etc, as those are just making numbers bigger.
    I get the impression that the drones are better than they look in terms of total raw damage output, but they're just randomly spreading it out so it doesn't /look/ impressive, and they're not actually getting many kills. Minions generally need to actually have some clear predictability - like shoot the closest, shoot the nearest death, shoot the strongest, whatever. Something so you can actually see the work they're doing.
    Bonuses that you apparently get five minutes after you collect them can just die in a fire.
    Not terrible, but needs a fair bit of QoL and balance pass.

    I agree with your assessment. It has lots of potential and looks fun. But! It needs a lot more weapons and different "addons" to the character.
    I haven't played many games like this one but what I have seen on youtube and twitch, all of them have lots and lots of different weapons to choose from.

    This game is 'like' Slay the Spire and FTL in that you can choose what kind of stage you go to. That said it's just a different group of interactables placed on the same basic infinite floor so I don't know if I buy that fully.
    So if space bar is (presumably) the dodge, I wonder what control does.
    Looks like the stat screens we get shown don't update until the next stage after. That is...an odd way to do it. You'd think updating display numbers when the calculation changes would be easy to implement!
    The HP increase when close things die seems very underwhelming. +1 HP per monster when your starting total is 1,200 and it gets reset every stage? At least you're fully healed between stages.
    You were indeed maxing things out, on the level up side anyway. Those only seem to go up to 10. The items + weapon upgrades in the shop however don't seem to be limited, rather just by how much money you can get.
    The weapons aren't listed by damage, DPS or level, just by the order they were obtained in.

    In this genre, I prefer the Greedland game, which is prettier and better worked, and they seem to use the same assets, I don't know if that's normal.

    Extremely rough looking... I'm sorry, but the item on the floor at 4:33 that has a blue circle that says "item" is the cherry on the stupidity cake. The same goes for these circle events. While they might be beneficial for gameplay, there's zero effort to make sense of them or integrate them into the world. It's just a random UI element that says "stay in the circle for 60 min" without any context, world-building, or anything. It shows a very amateurish approach to game design. Not to mention that the whole map is basically brown for miles. pass.
