Hey friends! I'm beyond excited to continue preparing my home for the Christmas season and this week we will be in the living room. I wanted to create a very Scandinavian homemade cottage feel in this space with some DIY natural garlands. I hope this living room decorate inspires you in your home!

Love the warm n cozy vibe with your Christmas decor.
My mom always hung our stockings on the wall on a nail beside the tree. We never got toys in our stockings only fruit, variety of nuts n candy that we didn't get any other time but Christmas.
We always had to make a list of 3 toys we wanted. She would play Christmas music continuously throughout December.

Georgie I love ever one of those traditions! What special memories. My mom would nail our stockings on the wall next to the tree too and we would see them there all of December. I love the idea of nuts and fruit. My husband’s family always gives an orange in stockings. Absolutely love Christmas music throughout the month! It’s the best way to celebrate!!

We hung our stockingsnon the fireplace but the way you dressed up your radiator isna genuine idea. I love that you dressed up your staircase. Bulking up the garland qas a great idea.

Hey Danielle, Happy Saturday. What’s the name of your intro song in this video as you were decorating before you started talking? I love that song and I would love to listen to it more. ❤ I’m the same way I love Christmas and I love bringing the Christmas spirit into my home as well. My parents hung my stockings above their fireplace and if I have a fireplace that’s where I will hang my future kids stockings as well. If we don’t have a fireplace I’m not sure where I would hang the stockings most likely somewhere in our living room. My parents always played Christmas music throughout the month of December and even at the end of November. They would put things that me and my sister needed in our stockings such as socks, chapstick, little toys that we wanted, candy, basically anything that would fit that we loved or wanted. ❤ Thank you for showing us how to thickening out the garland and making it look beautiful onto your stairs. ❤ your home looks beautiful for Christmas and I love how you always make your home look cozy and welcoming as well. ❤🥰
