This is special. Many Dynasty teams had watered down Opponents. The Ravens and 49’ers were legitimate powerhouses that the Chiefs dismantled. I believe this 2023 Chiefs team maybe the best in history. They went through Tua and the high powered Dolphins, then Josh Allen and the powerful Bills, then the Unstoppable Ravens and Lamar. Then just to top it off they beat the best version of the Uber talented 49ers.

One must also remember the Chiefs set a NFL record by holding all of their opponents to under 28 points per game for the entire regular season.

@@pwill7301 Lombardi has 40 years experience working for NFL teams. It’s an impressive resume. He wasn’t making excuses, he was explaining why the 49ers lost to the Chiefs. The 49ers could’ve won that game but they couldn’t make mistakes. That doesn’t take away from the Chiefs. The Chiefs are a fantastic, tough team. They never give up, they’re always prepared, they do the right thing at the right time. The Chiefs deserved to win that game but pointing out the 49ers mistakes & how the Chiefs either caused those mistakes or capitalized in them takes away nothing from the Chiefs.

Every network was acting like a niners network this year. It was obnoxious. Seemed like they tried to give niners the game based on the refs behavior in the end with the bad spots they kept marking when chiefs clearly got the 1st down. All of the big football guys wanted Kyle to win because he’s their precious nepo baby

  • @Zarab923

Kelce was mad that Andy Reid took him out of the game to rest and then the tight end in the game missed a block that led to a fumble in the red zone. They showed him cheering for the guy who caught the ball the previous play. You clearly weren’t paying good attention. And they need to draft better on defense?!? Did you forget the super young defense that kept niners struggling 😂 all but like 4 guys were drafted. Niners are the ones who suck at developing their own talent. Dude is a niners lover that used to be the coach of the freaking raiders, why am I not shocked his takes are irritating. They didn’t convert big plays because spags blitzed the shit out of them, it’s a credit to kc not a silly mistake. Niners and Kyle got outcoached. And toney won’t be cut because his dead cap is the same regardless so maybe Andy Reid will take another crack at him. He’s ridiculously talented though equally annoying

Kelce will probably not play full out in the regular season kinda like he didn’t this year Pacheco and rice and whoever they get as another wr will do more of it. Toney and skyy moore will be around not that they’re reliable. Kelce was a different player in the playoffs than he was all season and he even ran faster than he had in 7 years on that run in the 4th quarter

Chiefs fans wanted Sutton fired a long time before that. He focused on getting sacks, to the detriment of everything else. A defense that has the most sacks, that gives up the most points? Ridiculous.
Also, game should've ended when Brady threw yet another pick, only for it to be nullified by an idiotic lining up on the LOS by Ford.
That game finally woke Andy up, and he fired Sutton.

I’m sorry, Steve Wilks was not the problem in the Super Bowl, it was Kyle Shanahan‘s playcalling not getting the ball to his star players. They were also bad on third down defense did a good job. They held KC to 19 points in regulation. They didn’t convert third down deep into KC‘s territory and left Patrick Mahomes with two minutes left on the clock. Kyle should’ve been running the ball more, but he likes to throw the ball that’s been his M.O. Kyle is a good coach however he has to learn how to close big games out. This loss once again is on him…

These talking heads never mention that Chris Jones couldn't be blocked by the 49ers in the 4th quarter and overtime blowing up 49ers key plays. If you think the Hardiman TD was a 2 pt play then you know nothing about the Chiefs on the goal line....such as against Eagles in the last year's Super Bowl. Michael: 49’s defense has issues, it’s limited was not Kyle’s fault on the offense.
Also Michael: Chief’s first offensive opportunities ( punt, fumble, punt, punt, pick, punt.
What does Michael wanted from the defense?
Offense did not took enough distance from Chiefs when they had the chance, of course after the effort they will be tired.
It was coaching fault not having the trophy with them.
Not giving MMC the ball at the end, not preventing the blitz on those critical third opportunities.
Do not cry or defend Kyle.

    • @Zarab923
      @Zarab923 Před 3 měsíci +1

Yeah as a chiefs fan the matchup that mattered was definitely chiefs defense vs Niners offense because that’s each teams strength. Chiefs had been struggling on offense all year and they kinda just waited for the defense to get tired before Andy dialed up his planned stuff and Mahomes and Kelce perked up. But they couldn’t have done that unless the defense kept the niners from scoring too much which they clearly did. Niners crap on the eagles but the eagles had a great plan last year with inventive plays that had our defense running around and messing up. I mean y’all don’t really have Aj brown and devonte smith but aiyuk should’ve been used more and deebo less because mcduffie was practically running his routes for him at times. It’s not a strength of his. Should’ve kept running the ball. Should’ve given Kittle more opportunities or let Brock run. There are alot of things Kyle could’ve done. And he needs a new special teams guy if whoever he has now really allowed that crap to happen. Like how was that guy not looking for the ball and wtf is mccloud doing trying to scoop up the ball instead of just protecting it. Just stupidity. And then the OT call was ridiculous. You can’t make a decision based on the 3rd possession when there might not even be a 3rd possession and according to Reid there never would’ve been one. Terrible freaking coaching and shanahan was too busy trying to micromanage Wilks to do his own damn job. I get that it doesn’t make him a bad coach but he’s not as good as people keep trying to convince everyone. If you choke in big moments you’re not an elite player so same goes for the coach

It's not necessarily about rings, wins or losses, it's about how you play the game. That being said Patrick Mahomes is the GOAT before he lost to Brady, when he lost to him and now. He only lost to brady because he lost a coin toss, he outplayed him. He lost his whole o line in the super bowl against bucs. Objectively Mahomes is the superior player, Brady’s first three super bowl wins were not because of Brady, they were a defensively run team and he never had to lead the team. It took him 10 years to get his 4th and those wins were more like Mahomes wins because Brady was a major part of those obviously. I don’t think it’s going to take Mahomes 10 years to win a 4th and he’s more accomplished now that Brady was at his age. Brady can stay the goat for now but it’ll be Mahomes before too long
