    Thanks for including "Recommended Tool Usage Chart" at 0:27 which is not on the Menard's website! Although it's not recommended for Sandblasting, it may work well enough for the cheap Hobo Freight sandblaster units.

      Any compressor can operate any tool is if the time period is short enough. You can run a 1/2" impact off a nail gun compressor-- if you can get that single bolt off in a couple seconds before you run out of air ;)

    Thanks for the video! How is it holding up to your use? Also wondering about the noise level. Do you feel that you have to wear hearing protection around it? I know at 82dB it's considered in the quiet range, but I understand that those sound tests are typically conducted outdoors, so 82dB outdoors could be 95+ indoors. Thoughts?

      The compressor is going strong, haven’t used it enough to put it through its paces or recharge multiple times in a day but it never lets me down and holds pressure for a few days. I wear hearing protection around it but have never tested the dB level. It seems pretty loud to me. I’ll run it and walk away till it’s done charging.

    considering this one vs oiled/belt drive masterforce 30gal...any issues so far? any thoughts?

      I haven’t had any issues but I only use it once a month on average. It’s reliable and had no issues but I am not pushing it to the limit. I would go with the belt drive oiled compressor if you plan on using it a lot.

    How do you know if the oil less pump is good to go after the 30 min?

    • @OwenLucas
      @OwenLucas  Před 2 lety

      I don't think there is a way to tell. The instruction manual says to run it 30 minutes to break it in so I would go by that. Compressor is running great, no issues.

      @@OwenLucas Yeah I let it run for 31 minutes closed the pitcock . And then ran it as normal and so far it's doing just fine I go out starting my blowout season tomorrow. I run this size a compressor with 10 zones and under and it will work just fine . Thanks for your video man it hit right on the nail for everything I was looking for
