Incredibly overrated season and he also has to be punished for his suspension costing Liverpool as well. That suspension is still a part of Suarez’s contribution that year, you can’t ignore it.

People forgot Henry established the PL assist record on that season while being the PL topscorer with 24 goals. 20 years later his assist record still prevails, and Haaland just tie his record for most G/A in a single PL season.

I simply can't put Haaland amount this legends. Yes, he broke the prem league record at very young age in his first season. I don't want to say that but he is tap in merchant. I don't say it's easy, it's not, but if we talk about INDIVIDUAL performances, he simply can't be in this list. He's not a complete striker like for example Henry (greatest prem league player oat in my opinion). Haaland can't dribble, tak free-kicks and he ghosts in big games. 07/08 Ronaldo, 13/14 Suarez and 02/03 Henry are a tier above everyone else. This isn't just about team achievements or stats which is why Haaland goes into this with a huge advantage. All 3 of those players had an insane fear factor that I've never seen Haaland or even Salah to a lesser extent possess
They'd score from virtually anywhere on the pitch and any time they had the ball at their feet even at the halfway line they were already a threat. Haaland is undeniably world class but he's not that kind of player

Suarez had the best individual season I’ve ever seen in my life. I would also include the season of Dimitri Payet 2016, I think some of these teams below top 6 are massively underlooked.
doesn't matter what stats show...... Haaland scored most of those goals by tap-ins...... Henry could score by dribbling through half of opponent's players...... and don't forget Henry played against some of the best defenders in PL history, multiple of them...... Haaland never had to face monsters like Rio, Staam, Terry, Carragher etc..... and he was still top scorer each season(some seasons he was even top scorer in all top european competitions :D)..... not mentioning Henry had each season also shitload of assists...... Haaland could never do what he does in other team...... I rate Salah far more than Haaland...... but TH14 is still best individual offensive player in PL history

1. Henry. should be no debate, the stats alone put him first. turkish's argument is so simple and i agree completely, i can only think of cr7 at madrid, a young r9 and suarez at barca for anyone who has hit messi-level performance in the past 25 years or so.
2. Suarez. the definition of an individual season, an even better goal to game ratio than haaland, no penalties, amazing performances, carrying the team when behind, putting a team that would do well to finish 6th without him into a title race, very high assists, the types of goals he scored in just that season and the fact that he shouldered all the weight means he should be number 1 (but its henry). this is the season everyone talks about as the best individual season in the premier league and I feel its underrated from people because of what suarez would do next. this season puts him into people's all-time liverpool XI's which is insane. just wanted to add an edit here about suarez ghosting in big games, you can go back and see just the highlights where suarez is forced to drop deeper and contribute in order to win his team games, a big highlight would be his game against city at anfield where he's not on the scoresheet but the best player on the pitch and a constant threat. his technical ability is so underrated as well, we're talking about one of the best footballers we'll ever see.
3. Ronaldo. unlike haaland, cr7 was the major player in getting united to that final, was surreal in the league with a genuine title race.
4. Haaland. this haaland winning trophies argument is not an argument for individuality as his team is what propels him to trophies, its your performance in competitions that wins you trophies. in the premier league alone he was the difference to the title yes but without him the team were still winning leagues. the fa cup he barely contributed, he was on fire in the ucl groups, had that crazy leipzig game (no point in talking about how shocking leipzig were since you've got to give credit where credit is due) and scored against bayern when they were already 2-0 up and peppering them at that point, guardiola's team was performing insanely high against bayern and madrid in spite of him. if you are going to say he won his team those trophies thats not true at all and its disillusionment.
5. Salah. hurts not putting him higher but you've got to look at what he's against.
6. Bale. warrants being here but can't stack up.

Any goalscorer like Kane, Shearer, Cole, Wright Fowler Van Nisteroy, and Lineker would have tapped their way into a Goal scoring record in this Man City side (they won the league and reached the final of the CL without a striker )... but to be a Scorer (of Magical goals) and a creative force that' IS truly special.. that's what makes Messi the GOAT and that season of Henry the Greatest in PL history

@@TP-pq9xx Auguro scored 21 in 25..in 17/18.. so yes.. he only played 30 genes once for Pep which included significant substitute appearances due to issues (with Pep) at the start and then fitness and injury.. besides Pep was still tweaking in his first 3 years. in last year's team, Aguero would have scored 50+

I have to be honest, these four are absolutely brilliant entertainment 😂 don’t split this group up
1. Ronaldo - 42 goals from the wing and Ballond'or winner
2. Suarez - did things I have never seen in the Premierleague
3. Haaland, the treble and being a goalscoring machine, but the above two trump him for talent and individual influence on a team

Kane got 29 goals in 30 appearances in 16/17 despite 2 ankle injuries. That season never gets mentioned and I understand why. It's a shame though because on that form he may have got a goalscoring record season like Haaland with a less dominant team around him. It's not a feat that should be forgotten.

Barring York and Shearer who played in the first few seasons where there were 22 teams and 42 games in a season Henry and Haaland are joint first with 47 G+A in a single season. Sure one got a treble and the other only had an FA but one was spoon fed at times and relied more on his team whereas the other could also create his own goals. If Haaland is first then Henry has to minimum be second. Suarez/Salah follows and then Ronaldo in the last spot.

Ronaldo isn’t on this list because this prompt limits the requirements only to the league. League Ronaldo was great but his stats aren't as great as the others on the list.
Honourable mentions include VVD, I remember he had that "0 dribbles past season" which is phenomenal, but I don't know how we can accurately measure that against a strikers goal scoring. Also shoutout Drogba who had the same amount of Goal contributions as Henry, but Drogba lost games that season, Henry didn't.

I just saw the trailer for a movie called Lady Ballers. There's a scene where a man is wrestling a woman and does a flying elbow drop on her. It shows the crowd reaction, and I swear on the top row, middle is Ex sitting in a white tracksuit and a white hat, reacting to the action.
