    Thanks for the help! I was wondering why we don't need to take cross products? We were generally taught to use cross products for moments.

    There is a mistake in the Calculation of the moment, the x component will turn clockwise relative to moment of z which in our case is negative (because we are taking c.cw +) and the y component will turn Counter C.W which is + and u put negative so you need to flips the signs. Why did we have Max and Maz I really didn't get it please explain

    So why is there a support reaction Ay. The pin shouldnt be resisting movement in that direction.

      because even though the pin allows the bar to rotate along the y axis, it does not move freely along the y axis.

    I really don't understand why the T value in the sum of moment y is negative. Can someone explain?

    Your answer for the moment about z is correct, but you flipped your signs in the equation. It should be -.857t(1)+.4286t(3)
