- Magical Sleep Story, "The Witches' Cottage." This bedtime story for grown-ups offers a healing guided meditation narrated by a soothing female voice. It is the first in the sleep story series. With the guidance of an enchantress in a crescent moon, you travel back in time to an enchanted forest. You encounter fairies and a fox who brings you to the cottage of three witches. The Witch of Time, The Witch of Healing, and the Witch of Love, are there to perform magical spells and offer healing tonics. You retreat to a cozy alcove of the cottage, where you are tucked in and drift to sleep. It's time to dream away.

In the darkness of winter, to me it's an ideal time to escape to a warm locale and bathe in a kaleidoscope of lights. It's also a reminder to keep spreading your own light.

Michelle, almost as if it was part of your story: a week ago, I sat down on my bed ready for another uncertain night and, as if guided by Magick, I opened CZcams and typed in "Sleep Stories" into the search option. This is how we met. I am amazed by your silky voice, the conciseness of your stories, vocabulary, and descriptions. Wow, this was a very original unexpected story! This one was actually quite a departure from your normal style, and I liked the variety! It seemed much more intimate and personal in terms of the character interactions. The enchantress in the Moon, talking directly to you. The tiny faeries interacting with you in a very personal way. I also loved the part about following the small fox, it was a brilliant story device, pulling us in deeper into the fantasy world.
Up to now I have listened to this on 4 nights and I still can't make it past the part of entering the witches' cottage! Maybe I should listen in the daytime to find out what actually happens with the witches, lol.

I hope (although understand these have a purpose of getting you to sleep fast) that you make it to the witches. I am trying to experiment more with the channel. I have been pushed to grow as a writer with new partnerships this year and since this year is quite a “real” experience let’s delve into fantasy when we can. 💜
@@MichellesSanctuary After many nights with this story, I finally did make it to the part with the witches. And I have to say it was both deep and absolutely brilliant! I think you really got into our underlying emotions here, beautifully working into self-acceptance. The part about how you still have time to live the life you dreamed really caught me unexpectedly, and was like getting smacked with a heavy pillow (lol)! This is deep and comforting stuff. I must have fallen asleep after that, but I am listening again now in the daytime, and loved the whole part about going up the stairs and falling asleep in that little nook. It's like resting at the end of a long journey. The way you brought it back full circle to the enchantress in The Moon was really clever.
I have to say that out of all your sleep stories that I've heard, this one at the Train Journey Through Time are my 2 favourites so far. Thank you for all your excellent work. You are improving so many people's lives, and I am looking forward to more!

A.most Delightful video ! Thank you, so much. Highly recommended: book by Elizabeth Goudge 'the white witch'. The descriptions of the scenes in the book & deep insights of the characters will stick with you many years afterwards. A sweet & very poignant story of many characters woven together with extraordinarily deep insightfullness by the author.
