I hope you enjoy-- I love that they exist somewhere in time and space to find healing and some enchantment.
I listened to it first and for some reason didn’t like it. I don’t know why. Perhaps I didn’t listen closely enough. I listened again at bedtime. Now I heard it better. You hit sight, insight, tactile senses, smell and a general gestalt that is somehow, well, bewitching. The witches at first listen seemed old. On second listen seemed ageless. Seemed less superficial and one dimensional but a trident of depth and beautiful wisdom. Plus I’m a sucker for exotic perfume. At first I couldn’t fathom how they could make me a favorite dish in a single cast iron skillet in the woods. But hey, it’s magic isn’t it? I’ve been going through your last 4 years of these meditations. I missed the first witch cottage so now I yearn to go find it and listen. You have gotten better more comfortable as the years went on but all of them are really precious. They all contain pearls surrounded by artful peaceful sensuality. Even some historical or scientific tid bits. I do hate the count down though. Like when I was a kid and my folks would say good nite and I’d beg for ten more minutes.

Plus, the very day I listened to this meditation, I was literally persecuted for being a witch. It's a theme for me. (Even sharing that I'm a shaman evokes an attack for being an evil witch) ...It's like living in the year 1682. It's wild! So it was comforting for this archetype of Divine Feminine to be embraced with this sleep story. Nice to be among friends. 🙂
