I‘m 35 and have been struggling with ppd. I gained a lot of weight and although everyone says to love myself and my body, it’s just not for me. I couldn’t move normally or run. Everything just jiggled. I lost 24 lbs now and I’m (almost) back to normal. I support body positivity, but feeling restricted because of weight gain can also be bad for mental health.
Not to mention it increases the risks of cardiovascular diseases being overweight isnt health

I'm 47 and I have to say when I turned 30 I was really depressed. I've always suffered from depression (not officially diagnosed with anything until about 33 I think) but yeah for some reason my 30th birthday really hit me hard.
