Based on her behavior so far, imagining her as a mom is terrifying. It’s crazy that she said this pregnancy was unintentional. If you’re fertile and not using condoms along with some other type of contraceptive, you are absolutely planning a pregnancy.
To be fair, things happen. I was on birth control at 21 and in the military when I got a tooth infection and needed antibiotics. Because both my husband and I had a job with a high deployment rate I would never have chosen to have a child at that time, but I did not know that antibiotics could interfere with birth control. I got pregnant despite taking measures. You never know what could happen/happened.

Some people DO plan for their child to give them the very best start in life. You may not hurt your child the way your mom hurt you but, you WILL project onto them when you don't even know you are doing it. There is so much more involved in this than you know. I feel like she is doing this for HERSELF and not for the child.
