Canadian here! You always, always, always yield to moose and deer. Even if they're on the side of the road you slow right down to get past them. Moose are tall enough that you'll hit them in the legs and send the body into your windshield.
This was such a trick question. by law the you have right of way, but if you're gonna hit a Moose - good luck.
Canadian also here. Peoples just give way to big wild animals. It's kind of respect for nature, avoiding accidents and it's impressive too to see them 🙂

I’m Canadian and this was very informative! The doughnuts stat is likely from a chain we have here called Tim Hortons, they are on practically every block in the cities.
