Beef Short Ribs Adobo Recipe

  • Short ribs is an excellent beef part for making Adobong Ribs ng Baka. What I did was braise the short ribs with vinegar and water until they're very tender and then added soy sauce later on. The traditional way of cooking adobo is adding the vinegar and soy sauce at the very beginning but I didn't find it to work really well with beef adobo so I add the soy sauce last and I like how the beef adobo tastes that way.
    Short ribs is a bit expensive but you can also use other beef parts like the shank or brisket and it would also turn out great for your Adobong Baka. Just remember to put the soy sauce last as shown on the video.

    This recipe is so authentic, and those are huge short ribs. Really classical braising technique. And the adobo style locks in so much flavour. I can practically smell it. Beautiful dish. New friend here, hope we can keep in touch and support each other. Cheers.
