Today I'm taking an in-depth look at the Nissan Ariya, an all electric SUV with lots of Japanese inspired design - aimed at customers who want something slightly different from the norm. Does it do enough to beat any of its rivals?

I have the E-4orce Evolve model here arriving next week. I think this is a very accurate review. You are impressed by the same things I was and noticed it's poorer points, especially practicality (not a deal breaker as I will need practicality). Also it's high equipment levels helped.
Good review!
Thanks for watching, I appreciate the feedback!
Great upload. Would you choose this or the Mustang Mach E?
@@ejjrl1ify Thanks! I think overall the Mustang Mach E provides a better driving experience (although firmer and sportier) and the tech is more modern feeling than the Ariya. Mustang also has true one pedal driving. In terms of space and height though the Ariya feels like a more grown up SUV. I'd have a hard time choosing between the two.
Thanks for the reply mate. Itâs a toss up between an Ariya evolve FWD or a Mach e GT in grabber blue! Both the same age and similar mileage however the mustang is 4.5k more!
@@ejjrl1ify Iâm lucky that I get to borrow these cars and be critical, but I think if it was my own money on the line Iâd go mustang!
Great review Dan
Thanks!
Good review, interested as to why you said to avoid the engage as its slow to charge? Nissan have confirmed on the website it takes the same time to charge as all the other models?
The spec sheet I got said otherwise but looks like you are correct, potentially they may have revised this recently which is good as even at 130kw they are behind the competition
Best review out there. Thank you
@@tomboardman8963 Thanks Tom!
I test drove this car in Portland Oregon and I donât remember the plush carpet. I wonder if thatâs a European thing. Impression is that this is a very nice car that came out a little too late and cost too much to catch on in a big way. The charging specs are just okay. I think part of the appeal is some normal features like the door handles, rear wiper and functioning sunroof. I like it, I just think Iâd like a 2025 Ioniq 5 more with all of the updates itâs getting. Nissan seems slow to announce any changes for the Ariya.
Totally agree. Too little too late in comparison to the competition - but it does offer some comfortable features that rivals donât, so could still be ideal for some. I think you summed it up well.
Mine arrives in July, canât wait . Very annoyed though at the ÂŁ340 price tag for the plush matts âŠ.that is a P*ss take for a near ÂŁ47k car- UPDATE** cancelled order as Nissan canât supply for another 12 months - farcical

What car on Motability for an electric car would you recommend. Great review by the way đ
