Obviously those Bettas were not in the ideal environments. Off camera I was trouble shooting with the owner about why his Bettas weren't reacting well to water changes and fresh water. You can see all the products he tried using to fix the problem. But I think it's an issue with his actual water source. He told me he'd try some getting some water from a new source. 👍Just thought I'd let you know he's working on fixing it.

Sadly, you never know when a betta is going to try to escape. You can be keeping one for years without incident, and come home one day to find it dead on your floor. A lid over the tank is absolutely necessary.

I feel sad so many fish shops are still teaching people that betta needs super tiny tanks to be happy, and those tanks are like, not even providing one body length swim and it's literally recommended in every fish shop. My betta is in a 2.5 gallon tank and although it's not the biggest, but it still provides far more swimming space and you can aquascape it a little as betta loves plants alot. He builds bubble nest all day and is chill and happy and never had any issue with it jumping out.

I am so jealous that would’ve been heaven for me honestly and also bonus Singapore is the cleanest environment on earth they care so much about the environment
I would like to offer a slightly different opinion as a Singaporean, I think that we as a society does not care as much about the environment as some other countries but becuz of govt enforcement we are not taking any chances
how can they care about the environment when they literally took sand from one ecosystem to destroy another
