I'm obsessed with Catapult, especially this live version. Jack is the most talented and passionate male singer who doesn't get enough recognition. He has a true gift.

There’s a few singers that in my opinion that sound better live. George Michael is one, seen him live 3 times. Amazing, no words to describe it. Now such wonderful memories. Would love to see Jack. They both seem such lovely down to earth people....

Here's a MASSIVE music tip to anybody out there.
Here, RIGHT HERE, is one, if not THE greatest example of two of the most important things with which you require in order to carry on and make it with as an artist/writer involved in music.....BELIEF and PERSISTENCE.
This young man and his band and management team which surrounds him and always has, have been rising and working damned hard to reach Joe public with Jack's creativity for more years than i care to remember. From the moment that he appeared about twelve years ago or so, the hard graft has been put in by one and all. Jack's story began with an album called BETWEEN THE MINDS, which floated around picking up listener by listener, one by one in those early days.
....and all of those years later his audience have begun to discover him along that path. I guess what i'm trying to say here as one who writes myself is .....generally speaking, the more solid the foundations, which are built in the early days of an artist's career, the more chance they stand of having and building a fan-base of folk who will stand buy them through the lulls and the highs or the lows of their time with us.
I cannot personally think of an artist who has worked this hard to make a success story out of his life than Jack Savoretti. I say this personally as in two moments of time on this planet(one in the early years) my path crossed with Jack...
This young man had(and still has) humour, enthusiasm, dedication, empathy, direction, courage, strength, belief, talent, gifts, an acceptance of sharing(with his band) and many, many more of the variety of things required by a regular person who takes something that they are good at and sprinkles a little magic dust onto it...and is prepared to work hard at it, to make it happen.
These words and thoughts about Jack are totally dedicated to anybody who has been struck by the lightning bolt that is creation and chooses or has chosen MUSIC as a career...I SALUTE THEM ALL and i salute a young man who once took the time out just after a gig, to share a little of his valuable time on this planet talking about song writing with me..in my world Jack Savoretti...YOU TOTALLY ROCK brother.
...and my tip is....NEVER give up the music...despite the doubters.
Why Ed Sheeran is more famous than our Jack is a mystery to me. And I know who I'd sooner wake up next to!
His time has now come....Jack has finally arrived and he has built a tremendous following along the way...
Just go to one of his gigs...he is one completely polished "live" artist...THE REAL DEAL...always had it about him.

Last week on Pop Master a daily BBC radio pop quiz there was a question “who had a recent hit with the song ‘what more can I do’?. The contestant didn’t know the answer and when he was given the answer his reply was...”Never heard of him!”
My jaw dropped! In the UK his songs have been around on national radio for years. He’s on TV doing interviews. He’s on a world tour. Just filled Wembley arena for May...still people don’t notice him?!? How can you not?!?!? PEOPLE?!?

Started listening to him when he was announced for T in he park last year. Never got the chance to see him but really wish I had. Beautiful grizzly voice but seems to be something really fresh and new in a world where music is so bland. Glad to see he's getting the recognition he deserves

I saw him play to 100 folk in Bristol(about ten years ago)...he was ridiculously good then. You could here a pin drop.
WE ALL KNEW THEN(i took ten mates with me and paid..they all wanted to pay me the money back...£7.50 a ticket then..wouldn't be able to do that now)...even met up with Jack and chatted about song writing...amazing guy.
