Love the format as a one stop shop for hybrid. Excited to see this same setup for the elongated and wide body padded you’ve tried
That's the plan!
I enjoyed the hybrid video. Thank you.
I like this format of review 👍🏾
More to come!
Absolutely love this hybrid review!
Thank you!
Thanks for the excellent video! This was very helpful.
Thank you professor
Nice work! Really like this review very consis.
Glad you liked it!
Excellent video. i thought the format and rundown was pretty concise.
Thank you appreciate it!
Thank you for your sharing. I have a Hudef Mage Pro and want to buy an AZUL.
Good job. And I'd like to hear your thoughts on Hudef Mage Pro.
Long video. But great info. Watched it all. J2k for me.
Glad you enjoyed it
Great video, thank you! Why doesn’t CRBN get any love anymore from most of the reviewers? Still love the CRBN 3X!! 🥊
Great question, I think they have just not released anything in almost a year so we haven’t seen them in the spotlight lately. As for me I just can’t get all the paddles but CRBN is on the radar for their next release.
Great deep dive and comparison of these hybrids! I’ve been playing DBD for 6 months and loved it. This past week I switched over to the Shapeshifter (fantastic paddle!). The DBD needed weight at 4 and 8 o’clock to dampen the vibrations and increase the TW. I experimented with weight on the Shapeshifter, but I think it plays better stock.
Thank you! Yeah, it seems Chorus hit a home run with the Shapeshifter they just need to get the production running to keep up with demand.
@@AllDriveNoDropPickleball couldn’t agree more! I was considering most of the paddles in this video. Demoed a Ruby but found the lack of pop was just too different from the DBD I was used too. Shapeshifter was a very easy transition. Also highly considered the Thrive Azul. Wouldn’t mind adding one of their paddles to the collection in the future.
Not gonna lie, when an ''All Drive No Drop'' notification popped up, I thought it was gonna be the
I didn't manage to get the J2K during the initial pre-order because it was sold out but I grab the J2K Pro. I'm happy with it but I wish I had a chance to try the J2K. I tried the Ruby and like that but I am glad I waited till a cheaper option like the J2Ks came along.
I have the paddles from standard to the extreme elongated, hybrid ones are well balanced, I'm looking forward to the CF/platinum paddle in hybrid shape.
Haha I already know of one new surface coming soon
Love this video. I'd also like to hear your thoughts on elongated paddles, Hudef Viva Pro Gen3, bnb Filth, Mark Two, etc.
The hybrid list was a little bit more manageable because there are a lot less hybrids than elongated. I plan ok doing it but have to cap the list.
@@AllDriveNoDropPickleball Looking forward to your video.
Would there be someway to work out pop from a controlled drop test?
As in get a hopefully clear tube of x amount of length like 5 to 6 foot. With a release mechanism.
Then you can use that to find the sweet spot and then test the pop (or return of energy) without the human factor?
Good idea, I could experiment with it. Definitely the one test that seems like we could figure out a better way.
Alecto Blue vs Neonic Flow - which is a better control paddle? Thanks!
I have the Flow number one for control and the Blue close behind with the softest paddle on the list with amazing resets
was wondering if the Pro version of Vatic was put in instead of the Prism one, how would it fare or compare with these hybrid paddles
Great question l, haven’t had the time to try out the pro but I’d guess it would fit around the all court scale from what I’ve heard.
Thank you so much for these comparisons. I've been curious about the Neonic Flow. The power and pop numbers you put up are much better than I expected. More pop than J2K? Even if the same level of pop, it makes me want to pick up the Flow!
ps: totally agree, J2K plays perfect in stock form! 😊
I think they are pretty similar with the flow edging it out. With paddles that are close together in numbers it will be different for different people just based on human error in testing.
@@AllDriveNoDropPickleball thank you!!!
What about the Legacy Pro Air 16mm?
Legacy hasn’t sent paddles out lately
Which of these paddle is the most soft and p[lush?
Say you didn’t watch without saying it. Pickln Alecto Blue
Have you tried the Ronbus R1 fx? Thoughts?
Yep, I have a review on it. It is an elongated paddle. I like it good power, great sweet spot and spin.
@AllDriveNoDropPickleball Did you place lead on it? I was going to order one but they only have them in 8.3 ounces. I like an 8.5 ounce paddle so after an overgrip there was no room leftover for lead. I wanted an 8.1 paddle but they have none. I thought this was odd because I thought the listed weight range was 8.1 - 8.2
@@robedwards6926 I didn’t. I think it comes good stock and yeah they seem go run on the heavier side.
Where the 6.0 Black Diamond, J2, J2H, & the CRBN 3x at?
Somewhere around here let me find them
Just an fyi the loco is no longer able to be sold by bread and buttter. They can’t sell the shape any more. Just so you know before telling people to buy it
Did Dale send you? Understood I’ll add a note, they have a new version coming that happened after I made this video.
Missing 6.0 DB on power 🤔
🤷🏻♂️ ask Dale
Top 5 for looks?
Top 5 looks I like it, what are you picks? I need to think about that one
@@AllDriveNoDropPickleball
Asking me to go first is kinda like asking the teacher for answers before the test. Here, for your reference, is the correct top 5 answer.
1) Picklin Alecto Blue
2) Thrive Azul
3) Chorus Shapeshifter
4) Rubies
5) Vatic Prizm Flash (the special version you show)
@@MattyRut2922 good choices, I think I would do limited editions as a special mention because you can’t buy them new anymore.
Run it back
Let’s gooo
Damn no Maverix 15mm pro?? 🥹
I don’t have the hybrid yet 🤷🏻♂️
I’ve had the original 16pwr, but more recently the 15mm pro and the 15mm all court .. and I love both 15 models so much. Pro if I feel like playing a faster paced game , all court if I want to drop and dink people to death
