One advice. It might be better to write the name of the item you are talking about. I know you mention it once at the beginningm, but it is not enough for lower tier players who can't recognize the items only by the icon. This makes it difficult to know what item you are discussing and we have to go back to the moment you mention it which is annoying.
I second this.. a friend of mine (who’s new to LoL) mentions the items based on how it looks and the color of it.. considering the amount of items and the constant changes, some extra help for the new players and the not so hardcore players would be great
Just open the game, go to items and you can see them all.. i get your point but can do some learning yourself too...

That happened to riven. I've been maining her 7 years usually got 60-70% winrate after item nerfs bugs and other things i have now 40% last 3 months. She literally lose every matchup except kayle and gp.

I like how they are separating the crit items into AS only and AD only. Really brings back how it uses to be back in the day with BT/IE into STATIK/PD with variations involving buying a single bf into pd/statik and then finishing the ad item

It's mainly these attack speed who's afraiding me, this patch will be full of kalista or zeri ( two of the most unhealthy champ, especially zeri as you simply press R and even if you're the most garbage person on her you're god as long you got your stacks )

its been a "conspiracy" but i think at this point people have woken up and realized it's just the truth:
riot doesn't want the game to be stale so they arbitrairly change stuff whenever they feel like it (mid season and new season) just to make the game different for the sake of it
riot is never looking for balance. they're looking for change. for better or for worse
that's why, now that the game is out for almost 15 years, you can CLEARLY see patterns and cycles that are constantly repeated.... they remove 25% only to bring it back... IE and BT are literally the same they were a couple years ago

@@VeeZzz123 Well if i remember correctly some items with haste previously got buffed at the start of season 14 in compensation of losing the haste, and im not only talking about items since they are also adding 2 brand new Runes only for ability haste
They removed too much haste back when they nerfed it, imo. And I think they realised that. Still, I don't think many people will pick that rune. The removal of tenacity is way more impactful and I think it's wrong.
the problem with haste in items/runes is that some champs basically required it to function whereas for others it makes them far too strong. they removed way too much from AD items for the majority of the champs who used them imo, but they can't really add much back without certain champs abusing it

Maybe... But with Unending Despair being buffed with a lower cooldown on the passive, it compensates somewhat. Not to mention since Fimbulwinter is being changed to scale more on bonus mana, pairing it with Frozen Heart may work out quite well. CD Boots/Unending Despair/Fimbulwinter/Spirit Visage/Frozen Heart/Riftmaker could be an interesting build to try.

I am so surprised no one is talking about sivir for 14.10. I Edge, Collector, and Wild Arrows sound insane on her. With these changes, Ricochet crits 15% more often, burns all it hits, and executes.

They really nerfed adcs ability to kill tanks this patch didn’t they?? The giant slayer passive getting removed from LDR AND the cut down rune getting changed so you don’t do more damage to enemies based on their max hp difference. How tf am I supposed to kill Ornn or even hurt him if he has thornmail?

im highelo kindred otp and i can say that just because kraken loses crit, doesnt really impact kindred at all since she can just build onhit anyway. the bigger problem is noonquiver not giving the bonus dmg to monster, that will probably hurt more than crit removal

Love how riot "buffs" the adcs bygiving us 5% more crit and removing all of the item properties and runes that helped us counter them. (Why tf is every tenacity option gone? Why is giantslayer bonus gone? We're already in a pseudo tank meta so wtf are these changes?)

@@sentro5382 If I recall, I said keystones, not individual runes. I will agree that there are runes like legend tenacity that adcs don't use but keystones are very important to a lot of champions and when you nerf ones that a majority of adcs use, it is going to hurt them a lot

Idk, my personal opinion with Trundle is that he’ll go back to Conqueror- which was his key rune before Lethal Tempo. Now there’s also a rune that’s basically a weaker version of his passive- the dude is going to be immortal in a lane with a wave there
What I got from this patch rundown; even though there’s over 160 characters in the game, you’ll still see the same 30 just with different builds and keystones.
17:11 I commented about the awkward 40% crit on Tryn, with these new changes. I like to think they read my comment and fixed it 🥰

For people who think they can play tank top or any hp scaling due to LDR and Bork being weaker to hp scalers. Think again, unless the entire team bans true damage champs like Fiora or vayne, do not ever 1st pick any hp scaling champs.
And even if they are all banned somehow, the longer game time + adr getting 100% crit faster means their "late game" scaling is closer to 25-35 minutes. Good luck influencing the match with that little window due to TP changes.
Even without those fighter/tank item changes, due Lck and MSI having TF top being commonly picked, top lane picks will not change and will still be dominated by range cheese picks. Cause no sane melee user will ever play LoL with that kind of environment for top lane.
The only saving grace is LT top abusers being gone will open up more viable picks on top lane.
You forgot to mention they fucked the cutdown rune too.
and BOTRK also got nerfed in his HP stacking punishment.
Kraken slayer is less attractive without crit stat in what clearly will be a crit adc meta.

getting to 100% crit means sacrificing lifesteal, or total health shred.. the changes to me seem like riot is trying to push for longer teamfights in this meta.. buffing adcs, buffing tank items, removing bruiser runes to counter ads. Won't surprise me if we go back to a front to back teamfighting meta.

Gotta be honest, its both sad and surprising how much the removal of lethal tempo is gonna gut trundle. Lethal Tempo (LT from here on out) was a perfect synergy for him since with his W already providing attack speed, it gave him the possibility to make full use of it in all stages of the game. Just more damage wont be enough to compensate. Its the same reason why nobody picks conqueror on him or any AA champion for that matter, as well.
Also, one of the worst matchups for trundle was toplane ADC's, which only get even stronger now. Basically, Trundle currently gets absolutely gutted.

Bel'veth should be OP tier... Every Item that she uses got changed and in a way that she can use. She gained about 50 - 60% Atack speed and about 60AD... Every "nerf" doesn't impact her, because she doesn't use the stat that much...
Nobody's gonna talk about how Riot is systematically targeting all the stuff that helps players increase the pace of the game?
They nerfed mobi boots into unviability years ago, and now they're removing it to replace with one you need to complete a quest before you access the full effect, defeating the purpose of getting it which was early roams.
In the very article Riot published, they explicitly stated they nerfed predator to let it rot, so when nobody was using it anymore, they could remove it when nobody missed it.
Riot removed future's market with the cashback rune, meaning that now you can only use that rune after you complete a legendary item. Minion dematerializer was also removed.
In addition to that, several lane bullies received reworks in recent years. Said lane bullies were weak not because they were bad designs, but because they were lane bullies in scaling metas. Rather than directly buff those champions or make the environment less hostile for early game champions, they were given reworks that shifted their power curve away from the early game and towards the late game, including but not limited to Galio, Olaf, Taliyah and Syndra, Aurelion Sol who just got deleted from the game and turned into a different champion, and Janna though she at least got a partial revert earlier this year.
Last, but not least, up until season 9, junglers who did full clears and only showed up starting at level 4 were considered greedy, The only instances where 3 camp into action was not the play were if (a) you were said greedy player or (b) you got the action going even earlier at level 2. Nowadays even the likes of Elise and Lee Sin are full clearing half of the time.
BF sword into zeal item might be the wave like it was back when adc wasn't as miserable to play. Especially for Xayah. BF -> Navori -> IE.
I find it funny that we all complained about adc being miserable to play in soloq because games are much faster paced and the game is pretty much over in 2 items. And what does Riot do? They make adc weaker on 2 items lol.
As a gp player my issue isn’t essence reaver 25 percent crit chance means we can just go back to triforce crit the big difference will be gp is once again going to be a coin flip champion Navori passive made it so even if you didn’t crit you still did increased damage this meant the difference between not criting and criting was a lot less since we now are back to IE it means if gp Crits you his damage is insane if he doesn’t it’s reduced by like over half this will be a prominent issue mid game.

I feel like ap shaco jungle/sup will be a huge meta shifter, shaco for a season when demonic and Landry's were both in the shop made him extremely strong while both item were at 3000g before you received the burn effect dmg. With an item that does the same at 900g this is a huge deal for him especially in the jungle cause of his slow clear.

I think Ezreal might be fine tho, even with the changes to essence reaver. Triniti force as a first buy is still strong, then manamune into shojin. then maybe hydra or frozen heart, should be viable still because of the haste u can get from runes and stuff.

the tierlists have so many champions in the higher Tiers, especially S Tier. Is that intended?
@@thuroria7631 makes the tierlist very vague. You just can't put 10-15 champions in S Tier. I believe there can be pointed out 2-3 champions immediately. That don't belong in S Tier like others and can be put in A. Same goes for Tier A towards B.
Quick example: Mundo, Kennen, Malphite can be strong but defenitely dont belong in S Tier. The other S Tier champions can be picked easier and perform vs more matchups.
So why are those 3 in Toplane S Tier? Easy bait for players who don't know.

I like new senna adc. I feared that tempo removal kill her, but with new boots and new rapidfire shes lit. And new old 25 crit helps alot. Finally i can play her without looking at supp.

Seems like a huge net buff to stacking health. I predict transition to cc-heavy tank meta. Champions and surviving items with % health damage will be huge, such as Imperial Mandate, Zak'Zak (despite recent nerfs), and Vayne. True damage (eg Vel) will also be strong but not as much as % health.
Interesting to see where a champ like Jhin falls, since his items were buffed overall, but he's particularly weak in a tank meta. However, he might be great when paired with a support that can cover this weakness, such as Vel, or maybe Zyra/Brand, or mayyybbee an imperial mandate builder like Nami (that alone prob not enough tho bc it can only be applied once per target in 8 seconds or so.)
Vayne + Nami will be super strong given top and jg are tanks.

Lethal tempo just needed to be super nerfed on melee champs and problem would be solved, predator needed some dmg buff against person that got hit by predator user, both uniques runes are gone for actually no reason.
