Great review on most of the vacuums I'm debating over. The only think missing is a review on ease of cleaning the dirt dispenser. I feel that's really important,for me anyway, since I had a vacuum a few years back that was a pain to remove and clean. Thank you for the great reviews!

I just got the Dyson V15 detect. Great vacuum cleaner. It's quiet, and it picks up all kinds of tiny stuff. It's expensive, but it works great.. I would suggest it for small room use. I live in a studio, so for me it's great.
Thanks for sharing this review. I would love to know how easy it is to clean the brush heads. I have a cat with long hair, which gets caught up in my vacuum’s bristles and wrapped around wheel parts. It is a pain to clean. Sometimes I feel I’m cleaning the vacuum as long as it takes me to clean the floors. Also, it seems that some of the vacuums can dump out the dirt collected better than others - do you have a ranking on that feature? Cleaning out the mess collected has a high icky factor. Will you do your Vacuum videos with the best type of flooring...my SHARK Vertex duo cordless kicks bAss on my hard floors, medium carpet and has been better than any of the others I have tried...and it has the HEPA filter and is quite too.

I chose Samsung’s front loaders because of you and I love it so far. Now I need a vacuum and I now your my go to. You’re really my best shopping friend and don’t even know it lol.
I found myself trying to decide between the Dyson V11 Torque Drive and the Miele Triflex HX1 Pro.
I opted for the Miele because a lot of reviewers complained about Dyson’s reliability. Who cares if the Dyson works great if it’s not going to last? If I’m going to invest several hundred dollars in a vacuum, I want to know that it will still work really well in 5 years (or longer), so long as it is reasonably maintained. The Miele just has a better track record for reliability. You also don’t have to keep holding the on/off switch on the Miele like you have to on the Dyson. That just seem ridiculous that Dyson designs theirs like that. 🤷🏻

Hey Paul please let us know how you like the Miele. It is a new product, I have been using it daily for the past 2 months so far I like it. However, I wondering how the battery is going to perform over time. Varta makes the batteries for Miele (a pretty legit German battery maker, it was fun to discover that my DMW has a Varta in it.).
@@DesignerAppliances I used it for the first time this morning and thought it did a great job.
The dust canister, as I expected, is pretty small, doesn’t hold a lot and requires frequent emptying. I found a big chunk of dust and hair had actually gone past the seal and into the upper section of the canister, so I had to use a tool to prod the dirt out so it would fall out. Not a big deal in the big scheme of things, but it’s something that I noticed and took some more maintenance than I’m used to on a vacuum cleaner.
The filter is easy enough to tap on the inside of the trash liner to clear it out.
The vacuum did a great job cleaning my area rug on the lowest setting. It runs really quiet compared with my old vacuum, which is nice.
I increased the power to level 2 for the wall to wall carpet because it is thicker, and used the same power on the hardwood floors.
I never needed to use the highest setting. That must be for really bad messes if one drops something and has a big spill to clean up.
The battery lasted for most of my 2-bedroom apartment, but I didn’t have enough juice to do my second bedroom. Since the “Pro” comes with a second battery pack, that solved my problem and I was back at it and able to finish the entire place.
The machine is easy to operate having the motor towards the bottom for better weight distribution. I haven’t tried paring it down and using it as a car vacuum yet, so I’ll see if my arm gets tired from the weight. I bought the extra motorized head attachment for it too.
At least I don’t have to hold the power switch to keep it operating! 👍🏻
Just to add an update, now that I have used the vacuum more.
I definitely would recommend to anyone who is considering purchasing this model to get the “Pro” version, because having that extra battery does make all the difference in usability, especially if you are wanting to get all your vacuuming done in one session versus splitting it up and waiting 4 hours to recharge the battery in order to continue. I have a 2-bedroom apartment and think that one battery isn’t sufficient, but two certainly is. That’s including doing some dusting on top of vacuuming the entire place. Just thought I would mention that. Happy vacuuming!
I disagree with your assessment on the Miele HX1. Its suction is poor compared to Dyson and Lupe. As a result, you have to use the HX1 on high power to get any decent suction and that kills the battery in 20 minutes or less. Yes, the Miele stands upright, but so does the Lupe which is a way better vacuum and has much more suction. And the HX1 dustbin is the most ridiculous design. Emptying it is a multi step process where plenty can go wrong.
I bought the Dyson V11 torque last year. It scratches my hardwood floors, cramps your hand with continuous use and the parts don’t click together well. I find myself using my Miele canister instead.
May need to check out that Miele cordless

This is seems to be one of the more objective and informative reviews and I do appreciate that.
I own the Miele and can vouch for it.
It's a well built effective machine, but remember it does not have a sealed system.
I also own a Dyson canister machine and it had a problem right out of the box. The build quality is also questionable and it seems that has carried over to their stick vacs.
I am unfamiliar with the other brands, so from my experience the Miele is tops and I wouldn't touch another Dyson vacuum...

I bought a vacuum cleaner called K10 max! I reviewed the video, but I want a little more suction. I'm looking for something else good.
I recommend shark and Miele. After consider their weight I bought a Philips speedmax Aqua in the end ;p . Looking for wards your next comment on you upcoming vacuum :)

The Shark F80 is a great vacuum but it has some major flaws. The brush collects hair and has to be manually cleaned almost every other use with scissors. It is not HEPA filtered.
I bought a number of Shark Navigator portables - one went to my partner’s home, one to his sister’s home, I had one already. Mine is now over 6 years old. I replaced the batteries once. The newer ones have LED lights on its head - nice for dark spaces. I couldn’t be happier with these. They, like any vacuum, need occasional maintenance/cleaning - an easy thing to do in my opinion with the Shark. The foam sponge like filter is very easy to wash and dry, the interiors of the dust collection areas can all be separated and washed in a sink. And the price, is I remember correctly was about $125.00 delivered. The batteries last about 40 minutes on high - it’s a two speed job. HEPA filters on vacuums? Are you kidding? Yet another thing to replace routinely - and they are NOT inexpensive. A real downer. Your sales pitch for Miele vacuums notwithstanding, they’re way over priced, and not in my opinion worth it.
What about LG Zero is that a good cordless vacuum?

All vacuums seem to spit out as much as they take in, dust everywhere like leaf-blowers!
So I’m still looking for sealed vacuums.
Only 1 is mentioned here as sealed, not sure about others, didn’t say, Sealed with HEPA filters is 100% perfect, HEPA filters without being sealed still leaks fine dust, but I’ve heard that cheaper vacuums aren’t ever sealed.

I bought my very first cordless stick vac....the LG CordZero. Strange that he says he doesn't think many people are using it!

Based on your review I bought Miele triflex. On the first use, the head stopped rotating. I thought it was the hair that stuck but after cleaning still the same. Took it to the shop and found the head housing had a manufacturing defect. Returned and got my money back. Totally disappointed.

It’s just crazy how different channels give different reviews for the same vacuum one channel the triflex is given bad reviews,here is the top dog….I just don’t get how channels like this don’t go into the build quality like some channels ran by repair techs

Buy a Miele and then come back here and try to make that statement. Miele is made in Germany (not China) and will last 15+ years. Best vacuums, period.
@@rival121 hear me out Dyson are the best in it’s class . Mieles are vacumms that last a long time and are very powerful but in my experience they are not the best cordless vaccums simply because they can’t deep clean as good as dyson cordless vaccums . But i can make the statement that miele canistre bagged vaccums are the in it’s class .

@@victordiga4460 why charge such outrageous prices for such cheap labor? Also the reliability of Dyson is spotty to be generous. Consumer Reports won’t even recommend the brand anymore.
Other reviewers who actually test things like filtration don’t even give any Bissell model a passing grade. They claim to have hepa filtration but do not.

I have the Dyson and hate it....it is hard to empty (we do it outside because it sort of explodes), one battery is ridiculous, it falls over, and you have to hold the switch (hurts my hand). Wanna buy mine?????
Removable battery pack...thats when they will do well. Why haven't they done it? Tools have done it for decades. It seems like a scam.

he is not really wrong though I own none of these, but can see clearly it was biased. giving 5 out of 5 for for miele for noise level while it has significantly lower suction power than v11, which is confirmed like everywhere, with higher suction power comes higher decibels. can't blame more powerful engine to be louder than other. it is natural. Also far as I know owners of miele reported issues too. And it happens with every singe product, so again feels biased. Also marking something lower for , and I quote 'sounds louder than it really is' on decibels test is a stretch and again a bias.

I’ve had at least three cordless dysons. Thrice bitten. Will never ever buy dyson again. Lasts about 2-3 years and having them serviced made little difference to the eventual cleaning quality. Very lightweight and easy to use but doesn’t last the pace whatsoever. And I live in a house with hard floors and the only carpet is a flat pile stair carpet. No children in the house either. So a big thumbs down to dyson from me

Nah, I purchased all of these vacuums, tested the hell out of them (kids participated in the effort as they are chipping in the weekly cleanup action in our home). My team members did the same thing in their homes. In the end, we compared notes and started making our videos. Miele Triflex is a new cordless vacuum and needs to get attention in this crowded space due to its long and engineering-focused pedigree in the vacuum cleaner space. However, I must say that it was difficult for me to get the Dyson v11 from some of our members' homes as they fell in love with the LCD screen and the attractive motor sound. If you have any helpful comments on areas that we should drill down we are happy to listen. Will make sure to incorporate new findings in our upcoming videos.

Maybe because they are a pretty expensive brand and you are not their target demographic. Not sure, but I used their products a lot. In fact, all my kitchen appliances are miele and they are amazing. Especially dishwasher steam oven and vacuum.
The HX1 is not all he claims it is. The suction is poor unless you use it on high power. And the dustbin design is the worst I've ever seen. Look at Lupe.

@@tn_onyoutube8436 I cannot believe what took Miele so long to make a cordless vacuum. I guess many big companies fall in the trap of their own success and neglect changes. I totally ditched my old corded vacuum (use it maybe once a month to clean the basement wall to wall carpet).
I just bought a Dyson V8. It broke after 2 days, reason unknown. I have a guarantee, but Dyson support has refused to either repair or refund!! DO NOT BUY DYSON!!!! NOT WORTH THE GRIEF

I have a v11 that had some issues and it was 1 week out of warranty... they still replaced it.
Define "broke" .. :D there must have happened something to it, to break like that and for Dyson to refuse replacement .. I have a V8 too .. been using it for little over 2 years now and had no problem what-so-ever .. multiple friends of mine has Dysons, one of them has a V6, which he bought about 5 years ago .. So I am sad, that you had this miss-pleasure with your's, but just from 1 mystery problem, you shouldn't judge a brand that actually invented this whole bagless vacuum tech ..
This bloke is talking rubbish about the Dyson, The V11 Weighs more than the V8, in the UK the V11 is 3.05 kg and the V8 is 2.60 kg so the V8 is not heavier at all, this person needs to get the facts right before posting a video that leaves them open to lawsuits with wrong information. and advising on a points system that is also not correct, talking about wrong and what can be looked at as misleading information to favor one brand over another.
He very clearly says the V8 is “more top heavy” than the V11. That it absolutely NOT the same as saying it is heavier. It would be down to design and the way the weight is distributed when in use, or something like that.
So, no need to sue them, yeah?
