Sir what are the other options, besides academics(lecturer in college or universities), after phd and how to apply for them.
Post doctorate is one of good options which must definitely be considered after PhD completion. And you can apply for research associate positions in government universities(for government projects), in private organizations like chemical companies, scientist positions etc

I am pursuing PhD from IITP. I have completed my 4 subjects in my first semester with 8.55cgpa but my 4th subject is english, and in iitp proper grading is done for english. So, can i apply for pmrf at this moment or should wait for next sem.

Fuel cell chemistry, computational chemistry, biophysical are few of emerging fields in physical chemistry. There are a lot of interdisciplinary fields like semiconductors etc emerging right now. Also to get clear knowledge and good and broad contacts regarding good universities, best professors etc you should clear and attend rjsf which will help you more to make a decision.

Upto my knowledge, you must need either PhD or must have cleared JRF lectureship to teach in colleges. This is the criteria until now.

@@Yuvanesh77 Hello. I can only give suggestions but the decision purely depends on you. Everything has it's pros and cons but the only thing holds you tight is your passion and situation. Study the pros and cons of the opportunities on their future perspectives and plan it carefully. Be safe.

PSU jobs are done for. They definitely won't recruit for some time now. And in some time they will be sold out completely. This field is completely useless now unless you want to pursue PhD and then be jobless.
